I agreed with letting him move on, but Ireland did a lousy job at finding a replacement!

I'd take him as HC over Philbin.

Ireland is not very good at drafting, and has no clue how to put together a decent o-line. A good Head Coach will gameplan around the strengths of his players and the weaknesses of the opponent, but Philbin will not do that. He has his system, and that's carved in stone. He may be okay as an assistant running the organizational side of things, but has no business being an NFL Head Coach. He remin

The utter lack of effort and preparedness is grounds to fire everyone.

I never wanted Philbin, and hate his offense. Clean house!

I've wanted this coaching staff gone since last season! I was neutral on Ireland, but his failure to do anything to fix the o-line justifies his firing. Clean house!

Sickofit+1 Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- I do not care for Philben. I do not like Coyle's prevent defense. I'm ok with Philben as a HC if he fires Sherman, who I hate with a passion. Rob Ryan is a much better defensive coordinator than Coyle will ever be, also McDaniels is milestones ahead of Sherman as a offensive cordinator. I can agree with this.

I'm actually surprised the the SB will be in NJ. We all know that the SB is for big money people and their lackeys, and I can't see Goodell making them freeze outdoors. (Except for the BigWigs who will be inside!) If a Super Bowl team's fan has season tickets, he should be given a SB ticket for his support. The fans that supported the team at their home games should be getting the best seats

I think that it all depends on Sherman and the offense. The defense will do their job and should be good enough, as long as the offense keeps scoring in all 4 quarters. If the offense gets shut out again in the second half, then Ross should fire Philbin and Sherman on the spot!

The only way I'll believe that they've made progress would be if they win the next 3 games. They have the talent to beat the Pats, but the coaching has been lacking. Personally, I want Philbin and Sherman fired for their failure to do anything about the o-line earlier in the season, and for the complete second half collapses against NE and Carolina. I can accept the losses to Buffalo (not rea

I'm not a hater, although I expected him to be better at hitting WRs in stride when going deep. I've seen other young QBs who can do this; hopefully Tannehill will improve on this with time.

Isn't it curious that some of the best o-line play all season has been without some of the 5 starters picked by Philbin and Sherman? The original starters had a lot of time playing together as a unit and gave up a record number of sacks, yet the current line thrown together may be outperforming the original starters.

If Tannehill had been able to hit wide open receivers deep, they might have scored close to 40 points. Plus, they were terrible in the Red Zone. I will say that the o-line did a decent job.

I disagree that this offensive system is good for the team. Why is the o-line and running game so bad? I'm sure that Philbin and Sherman had input during the draft. Their offense is based on short, quick timing routes. The ball should leave the QB's hand quickly. The o-line was not upgraded because they (coaching staff and Ireland) figured that they could get by with what they had since the line

At the half I thought "Wow, Miami is beating another good team" only to watch it all fall apart... again. Time to clean house.

IMO, it means that if Miami had better coaches, they might have been able to figure out how to get one more TD per game which would have them aiming for the division crown instead of hoping for the last wild card spot!

I want them all gone, and if that means losing the rest of the games this year, then so be it.

Thank you, Jonathan Martin, you may have done one good thing; maybe now Mr. Ross will see that his GM and coaching staff need to be replaced!

Every week, Miami spends at least half of the game looking like a Junior Varsity squad. This team is not getting better, and I blame both coaching and talent (GM).

The part of my post about bullying has nothing to do with Incognito. I only mentioned it because the media seems to think that this is a bullying issue, and I see it as something else entirely. I'm waiting to hear more info from both sides before making up my mind, but more and more I feel that this could be a long time in the making, well-orchestrated civil suit. Who would keep messages from

Good player ot not, if Pouncey is a friend/defender of Hernandez then he doesn't deserve to be an NFL player. (It's just too bad that the NFL is full of these punks.)
