I honestly don't think he will win the starting job. Fitz will get the nod because of his experience level. Rosen has outplayed Fitz at mostly every turn this off season but because of "other factors in Flores' head" he won't be the day one starter. (IMHO, mostly the early season schedule and the team not wanting to appear wrong on the trade should Rosen struggle early against last

Yes, the O-Line needs work but remember guys we were playing a very vanilla scheme. They did open a few good holes in the running game however...something to build upon. The defense looks fast, but our tackling needs work...something I fully expected, BTW. Williams is playing great at the moment, lets hope he keeps it up. Right now, we are getting guys reps and looking at the bottom half of the r

There were quite a few positives from the game, for anyone who watched it. We however played exactly like I expected, sloppy. But teams usually are in the preseason opener. Rosen started off a bit rough but he played better once he got his feet wet. He made two throws that he shouldnt have but he'll get better. He has been outplaying Fitz and I fully expect him to continue to do so. He may not st

Four hours into him being the GM he already got rid of a player...Darrin Lee.

Mariotta will get hurt again and RT will play at some point...so, we will see if he plays better or not. In fact the two QB's that have a better than average shot at being on a new team at the end of thier contracts are...Mariotta and Winston. I think one of the two will certainly be.

Allen has nothing to worry about...Jackson won't take his job unless there is an injury.

If he's there at 13 yes, we should grab him...I'd rather see us take someone like Stidham for instance in the 2nd or 3rd though.

Unless we have the coaching performance of the century along with an overperforming first year roster and Fitzpatrick playing well for an entire season...I see 1-3 wins out of our schedule. We will get swept by our entire divison. I'll still be at every home game however.

If we could do that trade with NE we could do with another team...

Treasure, there is merit to the notion that Arizona traded up to one spot ahead of us to draft Rosen because they had an idea we would take him. The problem is that no one except thier front office knows if that was actually true or not. I happen to think we wouldn't have taken him however. Our front office has said that there were only two QB's worth taking where we picked...Mayfield and Dar

I don't care what the chart says, NE would never do that trade. I also don't want to do ANYTHING that has the potential to make them better even for one second.

I thought it was entertaining...especially the hitting.

We need to draft whomever is the best QB available to us this year. THEN we need to draft the best QB available to us next year, regardless of round. What we don't need to do is trade up to get one in either year, neither should we reach for a guy... Beyond that we should be looking at O and D-Linemen, a lot of them. The only deviation from that for me would be CB or LB if a better pros

Well, I wanted Bortles. Now hopefully we can have Falk or a rookie we draft really step up and take the job. Thank God it isn't Kaepernick.

No to Fitzpatrick...he's a guy that could possibly win us 6+ games if a few things turn out better than expected. We need a guy that can mentor younger players without winning us more than 3 games in the process...I'd prefer Bortles.

I agree, I couldn't stomach this team with him under center.

I'm voting for Bortles.

We will pick up a veteran eventually and I'm pretty certain we draft a guy this year. We will be OK short term...and if anyone suggests or we make an offer to Kaepernick I for one will puke.

Well, Taylor just signed with the Cargers so our best bet Vet QB is now Bortles, if he gets cut...I'd rather have him over Taylor anyway.

Wake signs with titans...also, Beckham traded to Browns. He and Landry will make them tough to defend this year.

And he'd be a good choice because he wouldnt hurt our chances for future comp picks.

I understand, but still think Parker will be a continued bust and a waste of money. Now that he's been retained however, I do hope the coaches can fix him...just not gonna hold my breath.

Yeah, we made an offer to Bridgewater, which he turned down and took less money to stay with the Saints. Right now Tyrod looks like the guy.

Bridgewater turns down our offer and takes less money to remain backup in New Orleans. No Foles, no Bridgewater...Tyrod Taylor is now the focus for us apparently.
