If we take a QB, at #5 it has to be Herbert or Tua. At #18 it would have to be Love or Hurts IF they are still there IMHO.

I HATE basketball so I have no dog in the hunt. I do feel for his friends and family though.

I don’t like Gailey...didn’t like him the last time he was here either. Also didn’t like him at any of his other stops either except for the Super Bowl cowboys. IMHO, he’s overrated.

Well he is one of the best deep ball QB's in the NFL... I too am very happy for him.

I, for the record think we should draft a QB at #5, but with the caveat that the coaches and GM must get the pick right. He has to be the guy going forward and we can’t botch it. If they think that guy isn’t there...we should go in another direction and grab a developmental guy later...Hurts anyone. I would not trade for Burrows because it’ll cost too much.

Guys, this argument is stupid. RT is gone and he isn’t coming back. He was never a bad QB, he just needed help around him...that isn’t a crime and it does not mean he can’t win a title. We should all be happy he’s doing well. Our coaches failed him much more than he failed them, or us. With a reliable line, reliable receivers and a pass rush he would have done much better...the tea

I want Burrow, if we can’t get him without a trade then I say draft BPA that isn’t a QB with our first pick and then if he’s there grab Hurts with our second pick. The only change I’d make is if the coaches and GM really love another QB with our first pick. In that case I’d go with him.

BPA, if Burrow and Young are gone. I think it would be hard to pass on a guy like Jeudy since We need receivers and at least two of our current guys won’t be back next year IMHO. Then wait until 22ish to grab a developmental QB in Hurts.

No doubt Fitz has done well by us so far mostly...this from a guy who admittedly hates him as a player and thinks he has no place stinking up our team.

Well we are #4 right now, I’m guessing at the moment Burrow and Young go #1 and #2 to the Bengals and Giants in that order. So...next pick up?

That’s why I have been saying for years now that we have to have consistency in the front office, coaching, systems, and players to the extent we can. We have to get off of the coaching carousel and stop switching every other year or three. Winning consistently takes time, stability, repetition and continuity.

Credit due. RT is simply not as bad as Sam and Chyren thought, or still think. He simply needed some help...that’s not a crime. Good for him that he’s playing well... I want our guys to do the same...just play better.

Well part of RT’s issues here were. 1. Piss poor O-Line causing RT to be under pressure in well under 2 seconds most of the time. 2. A litany of injuries to supporting players. 3. Running game very few respected. 4. No TE to speak of. 5. Coaches calling plays that take too long to develop. 3-5 seconds when only two or less is available. 6. Too much coaching turnover. 7. Too much system

The reason I’m OK with us taking Hurts if we can this year, is ONLY if the top 3 guys are gone when we make our first pick, AND if we can get him around 20 - 27 ish the first round. I wouldn’t condone taking him higher than that.

If the top guys are all gone this year drafting Hurts and waiting to get a top guy the following year isn’t a bad idea. That would give us Rosen and Hurts next year and another top guy added in 2021 should Rosen and Hurts not step up. Hurts is mobile and might just pan out to be our Lamar Jackson ish guy.

Different kind of back than Walton...give Ballage some blocking and he’ll start hitting home runs.

Ballage uses his speed to get through holes that's why there has to be one in the first place...maybe the coaches can develop him a bit more and improve his power game. He's got the size to be more of a power guy.
