Would I do it? Maybe. I’m looking at a recent mock draft on draft wire USA today and those Patriot picks land the following players: - 32: Nasir Adderley | S | Delaware - 64: Kaleb McGary | OT | Washington - 73: Andy Isabella | WR | UMass - 101: Lamont Gaillard | OL | Georgia We might want to look at someone else with the 73rd pick, and Adderley’s selection might be overkill at t

I’d say getting a 4th and 7th in exchange for a 6th and a player we were going to release if we couldn’t trade him is a fair, albeit unspectacular, return. If any team gave up a day two pick for him I’d be questioning their sanity and ability to run an NFL team. Tannehill is who he is, a mediocre quarterback. I’ve been a defender of his since his rookie year. I own two jerseys with his

Good luck to Tannehill. He tried his best for us but unfortunately he wasn't "the guy". More than likely he will get a chance to start for the Titans next season when Marcus Mariota misses another game, but in all likelihood it is probably the end of Tannehill's days as a full time starter. I suspect he will move into the next phase of his career where he will be the backup and stand in

That's where we miss Williams or a legitimate second back. In some ways I am surprised we didn't pick anyone up after Williams went down. I guess it's always a case of who is out there in

This off season our front office needs to have a think about the future of this receiving core. Obviously extending Landry is a must as long as he takes a pay day in the same tier as Keenan Allen and Doug Baldwin (11.5 million a season) and not want paying like Julio Jones. We've got Stills signed to an extension already and he's proving to be an important part of our passing attack. So when it c

I like Parker, but the past two seasons have not resulted in the breakout year he was tipped to have, especially when you consider how high he was taken in the draft. If he doesn't breakout in his fourth season, I don't see how we can extend him because he hasn't done anything to warrant it. He's clearly got talent to be a #1 receiver but he hasn't proved it consistently yet. Hopefully he does, b

Great pass and catch. This is a great way to go into the bye week. Ok 3-4 isn't perfect but it is something to build on and fingers crossed this team kicks on!

Ajayi becomes the fourth running back in NFL history to rush for 200 yards or more in consecutive games. The others were OJ Simpson (he did it twice - 1973 and 1976), Earl Campbell (1980), and Ricky Williams (2002). Fingers crossed he hasn't got hurt. It's been a fairly entertaining game so far. Let's hope we can hold out and get a win. 3-4 heading into the bye week is acceptable. Got to

Trading back to gain Kiko Alonso and Byron Maxwell was a marmite move for fans and outsiders. I personally liked the deal because it got us two veteran players who could potentially give us an upgrade in two starting positions. Ok, there was some risk attached to this because Kiko has struggled with injuries and Maxwell didn't live up to his contract, but they are two talented players who are cap

Xavien Howard is a talented kid, I don't think we needed to trade up to get him, but I can see why we did to ensure we get a corner we like. He will need coaching up, but hopefully this pick works out. Kenyan Drake seems likely to be be a change of pace back or third down back in the NFL like he was in college. We must like what he offers athletically and think he be a contributor when there w

The last time we traded up for the third pick it worked out well for us... And while I like Elliot and think he's a very talented running back, I am not sure I would like to see us give up a lot to move up to third to draft a running back. I would much rather see us wait and see if Elliot falls to the Browns pick and see what that would cost, or wait and move back into the end of the first r

Interesting, you don't generally see people tip us to draft another first round receiver. But Doctson, Parker and Landry would be a handful for any opposition defense to handle!

I would like Elliot or Hargreaves to fall to us, but in the event both are gone my preference would be Jack Conklin. I think he could end up being another Zach Martin type player, and if he did become that, we would have a serious upgrade on our O-Line. He could slot in at RT and move James inside, or we could bring Conklin in at left guard, and perhaps groom him to be Albert's successor. That sa

The big question I have is whether he is a product of the Panthers' elite defense and system (eg Maxwell and Seattle), or is he really a legit shutdown corner? He seems more the latter than the former, but I would have slight reservations at giving a 28 year old (soon to be 29) CB tons of cash just in case he's more like Maxwell than Revis. He could certainly fill a need on our team, and if we

Henry can run and block, his pass catching is obviously questionable but that doesn't seem to be a huge role for an Alabama running back, plus it doesn't mean he can't do it if he is asked to do it in an NFL offense. For example, Eddie Lacy didn't really do much as a pass catcher in the Alabama offense, but he's proven capable of playing that role on the Packers. Another example would be TJ

The problem we would face if they are the first twelve picks is that there wouldn't really be a sure fire, can't miss, type of pick left on the board for us... When you look at Conklin or Decker, they aren't elite tackle prospects. They project to be potential guard or right tackle options. At #13 you would generally hope for more than that unless you are getting an elite guard prospect like

True, the Dolphins could look at a new QB because Tannehill hasn't led this team to the play offs or a winning season. But he's shown enough over the past four seasons to be given another chance, probably his final chance here, under someone that has had a lot of success as a OC using different systems with different calibers of QB. Plus, unlike Cousins, Tannehill already has his extension which
