So far every Dolphins pick is a potential starter.

Dolphins trade up for Leonte Carroo, WR from Rutgers??? Wow.

6'0 214, 4.5 40 and has character issues.

WTH? We need DE and LB, CB.

Gave up a 2017 3rd and conditional 4th in 2017.

Not sure about this pick.

Replacement for Rishard Matthews...But, I wouldn't have gone there either.

Xavien Howard is a talented kid, I don't think we needed to trade up to get him, but I can see why we did to ensure we get a corner we like. He will need coaching up, but hopefully this pick works out.

Kenyan Drake seems likely to be be a change of pace back or third down back in the NFL like he was in college. We must like what he offers athletically and think he be a contributor when there were other more complete running backs available in the draft.

Leonte Carroo is another talented kid, but I don't see the need behind trading up to select a receiver that will sit #4 on the depth chart when we have Parker, Landry and Stills. I guess he was drafted to replace Matthews, but Matthews presence early last season hindered Parker and that reduced Stills' playing time. When Matthews got hurt, Parker broke out. So I personally wouldn't have drafted a receiver this high, or at least traded up to get them when our top trio are good enough. That said, I can't complain with the talent we've added.

Overall, I like these three players, but at the same time I question trading up for two of them, and I think drafting a change of pace back as high as we did with Drake is a head scratching move. So it's a love-hate day two for the Dolphins. We got talent, but perhaps gave up too much and maybe reached to bring them in.

We didn't need to piss away picks for howard and the wr.

at least we didn't trade up for a kicker.

Drake is an injury prone back. I guess we don't have enough guys with injuries. I like Howard and Carroo but we needed LB's and DT's.
Those were wasted picks on top of giving up picks. Hope they can do better today.

The are being a little fast and loose with our picks. I don't understand why they are going for a #4 receiver when Andrew Billing is just sitting there.

FO thought the Bears wanted Xavier at 41 so they traded up to get him. Bears traded down as soon as Miami took him so that may have been the case.

I don't consider broken bones as injury prone. Those are impact injuries and happen in a violent sport. It's the soft tissue injuries that are more concerning.

If they are running the 3 receiver set I can tolerate the Carro pick. Stills showed me nothing last year. Carro is like Landry an alpha male. Gives 110% 110% of the time. I like him, hope he has gotten pass the character issues just as Im hoping Tunsil has. I sure as hell hope the 4th rnd pick we give DET in 2017 is a supplemental. Giving up 3/4 in 2017 hurts.

Gave up a 3rd for Stills in 2015 and then give up a 3rd, 4th in 2017 and 6th this year for a #4 WR.

We only have a 5th and two 7th this year. Might as well trade all of them to get back in 4.

I agree, Joe. Gave up way too much for Carroo.

First thing I thought about was...who? Granted, I am not a scout and don't know the players that well, but I don't think this guy was very high on teams' boards, and as far as I know, he isn't someone any team should have given up three picks for. I can (almost) guarantee he would have been there at Miami's pick. Tannebaum just like to trade for the hell of it?

The only thing with Stills is he has one year left on his deal. If Parker and Landry are our #1 and #2 receivers, and Stills has a decent year like Matthews, there's a chance we don't re-sign him if the price gets too high. So if Carroo can be that outside threat, I guess he's what I would all a "greedy" draft pick - ie not a need, but a good player that adds depth and should contribute now and in the future. However, with receivers coming out every year and most classes having some that make an impact, we could easily have waited until next season to draft another receiver, or even done so in a later round this season. So it's a head scratching move, but I guess you can never have enough weapons for your quarterback.

I figured Miami would go RB in the 3rd but I thought it would be Brooker.
