Are you saying that his contract includes a 3 game suspension?
If that is the case, then if he gets traded that will likely go out the window - as the new team will write a new contract.

NO, its 6 games now. That is official. Not sure of the wording or exact rule, but any team that trades for him will onl have him for 10 games.

So the NFL has a rule that any player that holds out gets a 3 game suspension?

100% correct, It has something to do with the list they put him on

That makes sense. "Suspension clause" kind of threw me off here.

They're not scared. They just have no respect for our front office. They think we can't evaluate talent and that everyone we let go is actually good enough to play for them. I don't know where to go with that, actually.

The 2 roster moves that really bothered me from them the past 72 hours are.... One, not waiting on Will Allen, we could have held 1 roster spot for him for a month and then see where he stood. If it wasn't looking promising then IR him. What was the rush? To pick up scrubs from the Browns/Seahawks?! Second, we probably should have held onto Grant or Douglas. At least one of them. Have an experienced vet on this d-line and defense in general. Don't care which one, but keep one of them.
The David Martin thing doesn't bother me too much. Because I was shocked anyone picked him up and I believe the Fins were shocked too. And I firmly believe Buffalo will drop him at some point and we will scoop him back up on a non-guarnteed deal. The Donald Thomas thing I can live with since this kid from Dallas we picked up can play both Tackle and Guard, so we got some flexiblity there. Looking back on it I have changed my tune on that move and that move I can live with. The Nate Ness thing annoys me, but doesn't bother me. If Clemons sucks though (which I don't think he will, but IF he does) then the Ness thing will bother me!! lol
