Well why would he want to go to NY? They have had about the same talent as Cle, now with Stadamire, whoooo.

If he goes there, he can kiss his rings good bye for another extended period.

Mia, or Chi, is his best bet, and he is a FOOL if he says no too both, especialy if he is thinking about staying in dead=end cleavland, and the joke of a Nicks team.

Knicks can sign a MAX player next year though when Curry comes off the books. No other team can do that. They can bring in his best-buddy Chris Paul, no other team can offer that.

So he can have 3 MAX players in NY. Not all about next year, its big picture. Plus in Miami he won't get all of the credit and he takes the biggest pay cut.

I still think he stays in Cleveland. Who knows though...this thing is a zoo. Worse than any game Farve played with the media

If Lebron goes to Miami, the NBA is dead. Seriously, he kills the league by going there. The regular season becomes meaningless. The games won't matter. The Heat win the East in a walk. Probably play the Lakers in the Finals. The playoffs will have a little juice, but not a lot. You still have a dead team in NY, now a dead team in Chicago, NJ still stinks, and the worst sports town in America next to Atlanta will have 2 mega stars on the same team in Wade and Lebron. That is NOT good for the NBA!

David Stern better pray to god Lebron doesn't go to Miami. Stern needs Lebron to stay in Clevland or go to NY and fight off the Heat and Orlando and make the Eastern Conference competitive and fun!

If he can't go to Chi, then YEAH go to Mia, why not.

Who cares about the Nicks, and With the Celtics, and Lakers the past d5 years, has pretty much been "dead anyways" with the exception of the Cavs, because of Lebron.

I would LOVE to see him go to the Clippers, now that would Jolt the NBA.

Looks like Cleveland for Lebron.

Knicks are looking to do a sign-n-trade with David Lee to Golden St. If they do it tomororw afternoon then they must have gotten the tip Lebron ain't coming cause they can't do both moves. By 9pm tomorrow this will be anti-climatic

Either way, Miami is goig to be great, with or without Lebron.... Mike this is exciting to most people that live in Miami, south fla or are fans of their local sport franchises's here..... We dont see this as the destructiom of the NBA, we look at it as Championships for our team... Lakers, Celtics and Bulls have had Dynasty's in the past and now it just might be our turn.... Havent seen a dynasty in south fla in a long time....

onyl person upset in Miami is Stephen Ross , who competes with it.... Brandon Marshall and Dansby coming to south fla, will be grossly overshadowed in press and hype if Lebron comes to town.... Season ticket sales go up for Heat and back down for Dolphins

Of course its fun if your a Heat fan....but its the DEATH OF THE NBA!!

The regular season is now meaningless. The games don't matter.

And those other dynasty's you mentioned had legit challenges with teams that were close to their equals. The NBA Eastern Conference SUCKS! There are no equals. There are no challenges. Except for the Lakers but that will just be 1 week in June.....so every other game up until that week in June.....MEANINGLESS!

100% right about that. Ross is spitting up his oatmeal this morning and that coffee isn't going down too easy.

Marlins leaving the stadium, Ross loses a ton of money there with them no longer paying rent. Now the Heat will sell out for 41 games and the playoffs. Mike Dee is probably drinking heavy this morning trying to come up with a creative way to sell Dolphins tickets.

And this all leads to what I have been saying, Sparano and co. better win this year. If they go 6-10 or so, they are all gone!! It's house cleaning time. Ross can't afford for a bad season and for fans NOT to show up to the games. He's fighting for his life now down in Miami trying to sell tickets. Competiting with a new baseball stadium and a mini-dream team.

Also, IF Lebron ends up in Miami. Pat Riley said yesterday he ain't coaching blah blah blah. I don't believe that for a second. Riley is sitting at his desk this morning polishing his whistle getting ready for practice!

If you think Riley is gonna let the chance to coach 3 or 4 more championships go by your nuts!

I'm with you here. I just can't see Riley sitting back with that team and its talent that he himself assembled and let some other coach take the glory.

But Riley has won a lot of NBA titles, he understands how to win the game, and I'm not sure anyone (but maybe you and some Knicks fans?) would think this a bad thing.

If there was a Vegas bet on who would be coaching the Heat if Lebron signs, I'd put the farm on Riley.

Did the regular season or post-season matter when Jordon was on the Bulls?

Get over it.

Gauntlet??? Are you serious? Maybe in the 80's, but Jordon's bulls had no serious competition in the 90's beyond Riley's Knicks.

Seriously, the Pistons and LA were a joke to Chicago by the 90's. In '91 - MJs first championship - the Bulls swept the Pistons and beat LA 4-1. Not much of a gauntlet.

In 16 of the Bulls 24 championship playoff series - 66% - they either swept a team or lost only one game. They only played in 2 seven game series ('92 Knicks, '98 Pacers).

That is not a Gauntlet. More like a Turnstile. Sorry, but the Bulls with MJ made the NBA very predictable.
