I disagree Sam. I'm viewing this 2014 team as about an 8-8 team at best realistically. The offense seems fine, the defense seems like it is a wreck. You need good play from both sides of the ball to be a consistent winner.
I would have a hard time disagreeing with that....but it's a chain reaction. The line must play good so the running backs can run and take pressure off the passing game and be able to pass block, the WR's have to stay healthy and make plays, etc. Tannehill has to do his part. He had TOO much on his plate last year as a second year player!
588 pass attempts is a bit ridiculous but by the same token, it was good practice. Only 6 QB's threw it more and every one of those are in a high octane offense. That should tell you something.
I would say a more true statement is that THE OFFENSE must play well so he can guide them.
Jake Long only missed 1 game last year and played pretty well all year long. He was outstanding in run blocking. He is no longer the dominant player he was the first 3 years but he is not done.
Fellows this has nothing to do with the team. Just hear The Ravens have released Ray Rice. Domestic incidents aside this guy is one heck of a Running Back. Bet your asteroids that 31 team are gonna go crazy to fetch him. Don't know what NFLPA or the league are doing. He is a mix of Sonic the hedgehog and Speedy Gonzales. Imagine him alongside Moreno. 16 - 0 Add also a 6'6 WR as decoy. We are set.

Roger Goodell has announced that based on new video evidence that became available today he has
indefinitely suspended Ray Rice.
Looks like someone was lying to old Roger. I guess the Ravens are ok with Rays who murder as long but not Rays who hit women (as you don't do it on video at least).
The thing I don't get is why bring up now the elevator images after all this time. No question is beyond appalling what you see there. In football terms he is an oustanding RB. In October 06 last year he hanged 74 yards and 2 TD's on the team. Miller and Thomas combined were only 16 and zero TD's.

Nobody is going to sign rice right now.
Maybe in a couple of months someone suffers an injury and a contending team needs a veteran RB to stay in the race. But barring that, he's done for the year (at least).

This is a bullshit/"CYA" move by the NFL.
Even if you belive they hadn't seen the video before they gave him a two game suspension, and I don't... Just what the heck did they think happen in the elevator that knocked her out cold for a couple of minutes??!!??
Everyone KNEW he punched her. All this video did was confirm it.
The NFL looks bad trying to make amends for blowing the suspension in the first place.
Don't get me wrong. He deserved more than two games., and he's a POS for punching a woman who slapped him. But the nfl treating this video like it's a game changer is absurd.
its a combo SamSam like yesterday Our defense held and gave the ball back to Tanne enough times for him to overcome his mistakes. Last year our defense could not get off the field. Yesterday our d got some 3 and outs and 2 fumbles. Still need to get some ints. Even though it appeared the d played well yesterday time of possesion was almost even.
We got a good team but still there is work to do.
I like Tanne he can do it. If Forrest 'Gump' Flacco can win a super bowl
Tanne can get us there.
To see RT development have to wait for the next 5 or 6 games. Yesterday the OL finally appeared and gladly only one sack was allowed. On the DEF side Jenkins, McCain and Trusnik showed up doing what they were suppose to do. Their section became quite solid and tight. This Buffalo game may gave us an idea. Now Ryan has a competent supporting cast beginning of course with the Broncos newcomer. We will see down the line.

Exactly. When it comes out that Goodell had the video he'll be forced to resign.
New evidence my a$$. What did they think he did? I think the worst part of the vid is Ray dragging her limp body out of the elevator.
