Mike Florio and profootball talk had us #31 in their power rankings....
I also don't get how we beat the number 3 team and they only move down one spot and we only move up to 14... Scratching my head.....

Talent-wise, this is the best team top to bottom that we've had in 20 years.

Hicky had a terrific offseason, but the core of this team was brought in by Ireland. He deserves a little bit of recognition for that.

The key addition is going to end up being Lazor. Not sure if that credit goes to Philbin or Ross.

We have an over paid Wallace, an overpaid injured Ellerbe, an overpaid injured Wheeler, and overpaid and suspended Reshad Jones, and at this point an over drafted and over paid suspended back up DE in Jordan... Those were Irelands last moves... Not sure Ireland deserves much credit... Recognition of those f8ck ups and f*cking up our cap... sure I will give him recognition for that... or recognition that a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then.... Brent grimes gamble is the best thing he did for us in the last 5 years... But geez, 1 for 20 doesn't deserve positive recognition..

Wake was a Parcells find. Tannehill was a no Brainer and I still don't think Irlend made that choice on his own. This oline , Moreno , all on Hickey 100%.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

I'm not getting into who is worth how much. It's all subjective.

Ireland brought in:
Tannehill, Moore, clay, pouncey, Miller, Wallace, Hartline, Gibson, Matthews, Sims, fields, Sturgis, wake, starks, Jordan, Vernon, misi, grimes, Davis, Wilson, Taylor, Jones, etc, etc.

He made more than his share of blunders along the way for sure, but that doesn't change the fact that the bulk of this team was brought in under his watch.

I also forgot to add that hickey did this in 1 Season! That's like comparing a 5 yr QB stats to a rookie. And the Rookie STILL has better numbers!

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

Don't you think everything about what we do and talk about here is subjective? That is a cop out reply, for that which you can't defend...
