Apparently RT is out with a bad shoulder. I think we'll we need a shoulder to cry on after this one. I was thinking 3-28 Bears...hope it's the other way around.

Just learned that Tannehill is out. What's the reason?

Fingers are crossed for the O-line. If they can block, we have a chance...if not...it will be a long, hot, disappointing day. Beer mug will be full...we are all ready for a win. Go Dolphins.

The turnstile of coaches since Shula speaks volumes. What we had with Shula was something truly special, not just at HC but the assistants were darn good too. We also had a smart owner...in contrast to the ownership of today. In MLB when a starting pitcher doesn't have his stuff working, he may get shelled and the game gets ugly fast if the manager keeps him in too long. The manager has to be

Next "foe" are the 'Da Bears. They seem to be a real up and coming team. On the other hand, our O-line is once again battered and failing miserably with our subs and it's hard to imagine that any of our 4 Dolphins QBs could do much to run the offense effectively. Sad to say, but I expect 'Da Bears to run all over the Dolphins this coming Sunday. We can't even "fire and fall back&

The O-line, no depth whatsoever so it's no surprise this game went south. Gase is a horrible play caller. The team is headed for another dismal season.

Phillips was a "slacker" with the Dolphins. Being picked up by the Bills...well...they aren't too bright. Revenge can surely be motivational, but with Phillips that emotion will be inconsistent. Maybe he'll play hard against the Dolphins, however, his true colors will show up in the other games where he's resting on his laurels.

Jordan Phillips' purported skill set never materialized. He was given plenty of time and just never quite made it. The embarrassment with the Patriots...probably was enough agitation in the minds of Gase and Company to make the cut without thinking. It should have happened far earlier IMO. He's fortunate to have made a good salary... and may find a spot on another team as a 2nd or 3rd stringer.

ESPN reports that Daniel Kilgore is out with a torn triceps. That means we have a BIG problem at center. (Typo in subject corrected from "it" to "is".)

Agree again with your comments Fins72. Larsen is subpar and #66 stunk the place up. #24 was out of position, covered poorly and could not tackle. The team was out played and out coached.

I concur. Very pathetic, humiliating game for the Dolphins. It's not likely that the Dolphins stay in front of the Patsies in the East.

Okay guys, I've watched the first half of the game and can make a few comments now. Thus far, the Dolphins have been out coached and out played at every position on the field (not including special teams). The defense is being pushed around by the Patsies offensive line. There is no noticeable pass rush putting pressure on Brady. The secondary is two steps behind and passing routes are n

My long time friend who used to live in MA called me at 3:20 today and asked "what's up with Miami, they didn't show up for the game." I told him, I wasn't able to catch the game live but recorded it. He told me the score was a blow out, 38-0. Before I comment here, I need to see the game.

I kind of agree with all of you thus far. To me the ideal situation is one where the offensive is balanced. However, when circumstances arise that thwart the passing game or running game, adjustments need to be made to succeed offensively. What is needed is an arsenal of plays that surprise the opponents, set them back on their heels, so to speak. The key to doing that IMO is not to give up earl

171. Re: Hayes
I've got it. The QB's uniform must have 12 6" red flags attached to his uniform. On the front: 3 equally spaced above the numbers and 3 spaced equally apart at belt level with one on each hip; on the back side of the jersey: 3 across just above the numbers and 3 equally spaced at the waist. So, to protect defensive players and the QB, a QB is sacked whenever a defensive player "

This was a big win. Gruden really got sun burned. It's going to be a uncomfortable flight back to Oakland for the Raiders.

Our defensive line is wiped. The long drive by the Raiders kept them on the field and they are pooped. I don't have much hope for us winning the game since we can't stop pounding, long drives. I surmise that we don't use our TEs as receivers much because we NEED them to block to keep RT upright.

Illegitimate penalties knock us out of scoring position. Our players did nothing wrong to earn them.

The Dolphins are running on 7 cylinders today overall, but the long pass and catch by Stills for a TD was special. The wall is too close to the field and could have caused injury to Stills. Dolphins need to get the TEs involved in the passing game. How many times do I have to say that.

This is going to be an interesting game. Gruden has found the Dolphins' weakness up the middle on pass plays. RT still needs to lead his WRs more on plays. Ball looked like it was behind Devante Parker.
