TC--Absolutely salvageable. "loyalty down, begets loyalty up." This point was taught at the US Naval Academy at the turn of the 19th Century (1900). Simply it means take care of your men, treat them with dignity and respect and they will respect you and your orders. Be straight with them, show honest concern for them. They will know the difference between mere words and actions which m

The game could of gone either way as expected. Mistake at the end cost the Cardinals. Both teams are very good. Wish we had a 6-1 record.

Hey guys-- I don't typically look forward to games other than Dolphins games but this Thursday night football matchup has my attention. The Cardinals are the last undefeated team and Kyler Murray has been at the heart of those wins. The Packers are typically formidable and may give the Cardinals a run for their money tonight. If the Packers can slow Murray they just may be able to outpoin

Hooligan2 stated: "The Clown Show Continues." We must never forget that under our legal system, everyone is innocent until proven guilty. The media is not our judicial system. Credible evidence, not suspicion is what must be gleaned by the fact finder (judge or jury). The NFL like any organization is subject to fan and media outbursts and may assess suspicion as fact when there

After coming off loss #6 our Dolphins travel north to play the Bills. Defensively, it doesn't look very promising. Offensively, I see improvement in O-line play and Tua hitting Gesicki and Waddle to move the ball down the field. However, (there's always a however, or a but) the Dolphins are facing a very good team with a very good QB and receiving corps and the Dolphins stayed pace with a bottom

Which defensive team showed up for the Atlanta game? The one that gave up 30 points that included the game winning advance down the field with seconds left in the game to permit a 3-point field goal that put Atlanta over the top for a win as game expired.

All teams hit and miss on talent. The franchise also continues to hit and miss on coaches and assistant coaches.

Trading / hiring Watson, if done, will become the franchise's pinnacle blunder.

You guys can't see it, but I am shaking my head like the ghoul watching those dumb kids in a horror movie hiding behind the chainsaws. Too little, too late. I did see better O-line play and we moved the ball in the air and on the ground. Bad decisions though...and Turnovers! Not the kind you eat...gut punched a close Dolphins' victory.

TC--"Work in progress." That's like Sgt Carter's answer to his company commander about how Pyle was doing. Very diplomatic answer from Jimmie Johnson--that Tua needs lots of training/ coaching/ mentoring.

We go into desperation mode with 1 minute left in the half and Tua throws a medium pass into the end zone with double coverage on the TE and it's intercepted. Really!!!!! Bad. Bad, bad decision.

TC, I think the D is confused and getting poor info from the sidelines with defensive schemes to run on a given play. Van Ginkle may be a victim of this confusion. When everyone in the &*^%$ stadium knows there is going to be a certain play and the guys on the field see substitutes that don't jive well with what should be on the field, coverage goes out the window. This is simply a hypoth

Another game to watch. Despite our past losses I am looking forward to seeing how the team plays this week with Tua calling signals. Gesicki and Waddle should be his primary targets. Go Dolphins!

The Dolphins host the Falcons this coming Sunday. The Falcons had a bye-week and should be ready to play well against the Dolphins. This may be another close game depending on our defense which has been porous against the run and in the air. They have been giving up way too much ground and points that have given victory after victory to our opponents. When will the D put the team in a positio

Are we over-reacting to the way the Dolphins have played since the last game of the 2020 season? Year-after-year, no matter the high draft picks, no matter who the head coach is, the assistants, no matter...it seems to be the same losing effort. It is so frustrating, and I have to agree with you SamSam that there will be no "turn around," no making the play offs and no way the

23-20 and Jags kicker Wright is a hero. Tua played good as did Waddle, Gesicki, Smythe, Hollins, and several offensive linemen today. The Defense had moments of success by putting pressure on Lawrence. However, when the Jags defense stuffed Brown I sensed we were in very deep trouble. Making that first down would probably have changed the outcome of the game in favor of the Dolphins. Anot

My observations are a bit different than yours TC--my thoughts right now. Jags are truly bottom feeders at this point. In fact, they are in the sand. Talent may be there but they are less unified and aware than the Dolphins. Tua has a much weaker arm than Lawrence whose throws are effortless. Lawrence's receivers are not very good and are they are not helping the cause. The Dolphins D

Two of the three NFL teams in Florida are bottom feeders to wit: the Jags under Urban Meyer and our Dolphins under Flores. The game starts early Sunday morning at 9:30am and will probably not be on the Queen's telly. Sunday is a day of rest, perhaps, that's what is really happening with both of these teams. Trevor Lawrence is a rookie and it will take time for him to get the NFL playing

Tweaking the coaching staff is an approach to solving what appears to be lousy coaching. It's an idea, just like firing the entire coaching staff. What ideas, if any, does Flores have to correct the dismal showing of the play this season? Hmmm, keeping things the same and "praying" things will improve? Maybe. I sure don't know. My suggestions mean nothing to the franchise. In fact, all

Assume for a moment that there are many talented players on the team and all that is lacking to get them to achieve is better training. If that is the case, improving the level of training is what is needed. Then the question becomes, are the people tasked with the training capable of improving their teaching and coaching methods. If part of the answer is yes, perhaps an infusion of "former

When you watch other good to very good teams they usually have a good to very good offensive line and more often than not, a QB that is improving with each win. Mahomes is sensational. Josh Allen is amazing. Murray is Mahomes-like and then of course there's Herbet, a pick we didn't take who is exceptional. No one knew at the time those players were drafted that they would become great player

Lemuel Jeanpierre is the offensive line coach and Shawn Flaherty is his assistant. Are they at the heart of the O-lines failures? Could be, I don't know. Am I grasping at straws? Charlie Frye, our first year QB coach? Minimal experience. Is he part of Tua not developing? Could be. I don't know.

Inadequate coaching, inadequate assessment of talent, wishful thinking, over estimating draft prowess, and the inability to hire top notch assistant coaches who can develop players is a systemic problem. Year-after-year it goes on. I am seriously doubting Flores' ability to "right this ship."

I was not available to watch the game live; just finished watching the recorded game. The lopsided score says it all. The Dolphins are not good anywhere as a unit. However, several players showed promise, if only the team could get it together. No expert by any means, I have to focus on lack of team unity and development as the reason for this club's overall failures. This falls upon

The Dolphins face the Bucs and their new hero, Tom Brady. I can only hope that the Dolphins offensive line has worked feverishly to learn pass blocking this week so Brissett can have time to find his receivers. There isn't much hope for a running game, so I personally don't expect much offensive balance. It will be tough day for our linebackers with Brady's quick slant passes. Tough game ahe

How come we fans have such good common sense in contrast to the coaching staff? No genius coach was needed to foresee the stupidity of that screen pass in the end zone...yet they tried to pull it off!

The Dolphins (Brian Flores) apparently doesn't believe that having 2-3 of his assistants working to assess and call plays during the game is a problem. I find this to be imprudent. It's not working. There is no offensive identity. Coach you are WRONG! Select the best guy and let him own it. VR, Colonel

Since I am in such a lousy mood over this team, I have to wonder what role Dan Marino has with assessing the talent of prospective and current players. Is he just another pretty face and former Dolphins celebrity, someone who merely sits with Ross at games? Hmmm. We need an offense minded coach to develop a game plan. Is the team going to be a throwing team, a running team, a balanced team o
