Watching the Steelers beat the crap out of the Ravens for pure revenge sake.
Hopefully, then, the Steelers will be beat in the SuperBowl, they don't need another ring.

But it does not follow that if a person can SEE talent that he can also COACH it.
If that is true in this case then you have nothing to worry about.

I don't know. Long may prove to be an all-star. We had drafted Beck the prior year and thus QB was not THAT much of a priority. If Henne proves to be just as good, if not better than Flacco and Ryan (remember Henne went to a bigger football program, Michigan), then it will prove out in the long run. Also although Flacco is playing in the championship game, Mattie only got to the first round o

cost the Titans. It was a simple off-sides by Jevon Kearse.
Of course there were a lot of other mistakes but this was one mistake too many.
They had the Ravens at 2 and 15 well out of field goal range near mid field.
Kearse jumps off sides. He did not affect the play and clearly Flacco's pass would have been incomplete.
It would have been 3rd and 15.
However, since it was 2nd an

Heh! Heh! I also remember that what could have gave the game to us by taking Riggins out and forcing Theisman to pass was that Joe Theisman was passing from his own endzone when his attempted pass was deflected straight up in the air and was coming down softly like a gift from heaven. I can't remember whether it was Kim Bokamper or one of the other guys but a Dolphin was standing under the ball

While it was true that one-half of the equation was our inability to stop Riggins, it cannot be disputed that the other half of the equation was our inability to generate any offense with the exception of a kickoff return, as I remember it.
I was sitting in the stands for that SuperBowl.

Remember, we went to the SuperBowl with David Woodley. Dave was able to manage our team to the point that we went to the SuperBowl. There, however, the Washington Redskins took us apart.
Dave was terribly deficient in terms of all of his quarterback skills. That's not saying that Chad is that bad but it was clear that the team would not advance under Dave. The next year he was replaced by

I hope you're right if he indeed is our quarterback next year, but I don't think we would. We will be playing a much tougher schedule next year.

Hell, just like everybody else I am pissed at the Ravens for beating my Dolphins and I will be only watching ONE GAME this weekend, and that is the Titans versus the Ravens. And my purpose in watching will be to see the Ravens get destroyed and that will include Flacco being put on his ass repeatedly.
But we are not talking about Flacco. We are talking about the future of our OWN team and no

Montequi, I just cannot see how a quarterback that can only throw short passes and then they float like balloons causing me to hold my breath until our receiver catches them, even though he has a great quarterback efficiency rating, can be a better quarterback than one who has a complete set of passing skills.
Granted that Flacco had a great defense but also Pennington had a great running game

First, your "strong arm" has to be accurate. Darryl Lamonica was known as the "Mad Bomber" but he was accurate as hell.
A quarterback with not-so-strong of an arm can be great if he is accurate because, with the exception of limited situations, a strong arm is only indispensable in situations wherein the yardage to make first down is so great that the odds of acheiving tha

We've all seen it happen with old boxers. They just don't know when to hang it up and quit.
Even the greatest of all time, Muhammad Ali, fought way past his time.
Sometimes old football players are like that.
Anybody with half a vision could see that it was time for Bret to hang it up.
He thought better of it himself at the end of the prior season, but then just could not quit.

I'm glad to see the board has a healthy respect for Baltimore. Our game against them was a lot tougher than any of the games against the Jets or Pats.
Let's hope our pass rush does pressure Flacco.

Yeah, but we passed on him at the top of the second round in whatever draft he was in when everyone was sure we would take him.
Maybe the stat geeks can say who we picked at what position instead.

As I said before, it gives us the option to play for a tie against the Jets and still win the division.
However, some think that if the Pats win, the Jets are eliminated and will be easier to beat. I can see that reasoning but I don't agree.
I think that not only will the Jets, who led the division throughout the season only to lose it on the last two weeks, be angry and we would be the on

But if you mean ties for "losers," then how does taking a tie and WINNING THE AFC CHAMPIONSHIP by virtue
