I want the Patriots to win 77-3, with Brady getting injured during the 11th TD scoring drive-just enough to miss the AFC Championship game. Then, I want to tune into Rex Ryan's post-mortem, err... post-game press conference, and hear how his team is "the better team". Why 77-3, you ask? So the point difference (74) is one more than the biggest blowout in NFL History (Bears 73 Redskins 0

I don't have a problem with Sporano staying, but the way this whole mess unraveled- offering 3 other guys the HC position, and then retaining Sporano really looks bad for the orginization. This being done at the same time the Dolphins ask for Broward County to pitch in tax money for the roof on the stadium-really poor PR and worse timing. Bottom line: Ross messed up big time on the way he handle

I know I'm still kinda new to this football thing (having watched it for only 33 years), but doesn't the HC usually pick his OC and other coaches? Once the Dolphins decide who the HC is, the HC will fill out his staff. he might keep some of the old coaches (Nolan),but most will be personal choices of the HC.

I have really tried to be objective, and give Henne the benefit of the doubt. However, he is clearly not the answer. He does not learn from his mistakes- he keeps repeating them. He never shows ant emotion- it's just a job to him. Henne needs to go. I think just about anyone would be an improvement at this point...

NO WAY!! Philly suckered us once for a 2nd round pick for a QB, and what did we get? A guy who screamed in pain after a teammate smacked him on the butt after a Touchdown

Garrett was a very hot commodity just a couple of years ago. He stayed in Dallas as "HC in Waiting". Bates has always been just a DC, but got a promotion due to the firing of a HC. He was never a hot commodity prior to being the interim HC. ...big difference...

I think if Kubiak was fired from the Texans, the Broncos would scoop him up in an instant.

for those of you that think another ILB is necessary, do not forget Edds will be back next season, and that will really help on pass downs. He is said to be very smart, and with a whole season to learn the defense, he should be able to step right in. What we need in the draft is TE, Offensive Line, and RB. Anything else, we should pick up in FA (including some sort of backup Q. I still haven't gi

It looks like Meredith took at least one game off that year (the infamous Oilers/Dolphins

When ABC expanded their package (Thursdays, Saturdays and the 16 game schedule), Meredith didn't want to do the extra games, so they hired Fran Tarkenton to fill in when Meredith didn't do a game- this was one of them...

The first MNF broadcast team was Keith Jackson, Howard, and Don Meredith. That lasted for 1 year, and then Gifford replaced Keith Jackson. My earliest MNF team was Frank, Don, and Howard. They were the broadcaster's version of rock stars. I am very fortunate to have a ton of 70's-early 80's MNF games on DVD, and watching those 3 today, and comaring to what broadcasts today's NFL is like comparing

I agree the INT was a poor decision, but to blame the sacks on Henne, and that they were a bad thing? No, that I won't agree to. The sacks were more the OLine's fault, and better a sack than an INT. He threw some very nice touch passes out there, but yes he is still not as consistant as I'd like for sure. However, he passed for 307 yds against a pretty good Oakland pass defense, without his top

Per Omar Kelly: Chad Henne is the 3rd QB. Roberto Wallace, Chris Clemons, Nate Ness, Matt Kopa, Clifton Geathers, Joe Berger and Jeron Mastrud are inactive. The Dolphins are wearing aqua tops and white pants.

I generally try to stay out of these silly squabbles, however... This Welead character seems to be stirring up more trouble than Mike ever did on this board. Mike was honest, and generally had some facts to back up his opinion. True, he was abrasive, and that is surely one of the reasons he's no longer here. Welead has just been obnoxious to many of the folk on this board, and maybe a suspension

You must be kidding, right? The only option is #2. You can't trade for a decent QB at this time of the year. If you could, Dallas would have already grabbed him (whomever it would be).You take a good long look at Thigpen, see if he can be your #1 or #2 QB next year. If Wake and/or Long have to sit this week, they get another week and a half to get ready for Oakland. You button up, put your best 2

I'll bet we see anywhere from 5 to 15 Wildcat plays on Thursday. The how many will depend on score, and if Thigpen has a good grasp on the offensive gameplan. Hopefully, no matter how many Wildcat plays are used, Thigpen still has a good game vs the Bears. Cutler should struggle if Harris and #20 line up for a decent amount of plays.
