Yes, the Buffalo story is classic! I also love how he called the other rival the "stinking lousy new york jets".

I was lucky that I recorded the radio broadcast of the debut of the wildcat vs the Pats. It shows how astute Mandich was , as he was on top of the new formation before the first play of the wildcat was even run. He was just that good as a radio color man. Mandich made listening to even the losses palatable. I know I will really miss him this September

Mandich was an institution here in S Florida. By all accounts, he was the consumate professional, and the voice of the Dolphins. You always got the truth on Jim's radio show, and he was a fan, just like us. He got to live the dream, playing for, and broadcasting Miami Dolphins Football. RIP, Mad Dog!

Pennington, but his tenure was too short. Fiedler, despite his limitations, and stubborn desire to try to make throws he wasn't physically capable of, would be second. After that...

SO, when the defense racks up a sack, they'll show Cox on the sideline with the fist pump (With a middle finger sticking up)?

As I recall, one of the reasons Sapp was acquired is because he was a "core special teamer" for Minnesota. I doubt any of these guys will be cut loose if they can play at a high level. With today's pass-happy offenses, more DB's are needed.SO, I can easily see the Dolphins keeping all 6 of these guys.

Last week, I heard Lucas on with the Big O. He described how, when he was with the Ravens,he sneezed, and he became paralized. He was put in an ambulance, and recovered use of his limbs on route to the hospital. Afraid of being cut, he made the ambulance stop, and took a taxi back to practice. the man had such a bad neck, that he needed replacement discs from a cadaver. Since his NFL insurance ha

OK- let's all agree to disagree on Devon Bess, OK? We've all expressed our feelings on this, and especially since we don't have any control on if Bess is traded or not, let's move on...

I don't know what game you watch, but one of the objectives of an NFL offense is to collect enough first downs to get into scoring position. If your slot WR gets lots of first downs, he is a very important part of the offense. If I recall correctly, Bess has a very high percentage of catches that net a first down.True, we need more chunk yardage, but you don't want to get rid of a reliable posess

OLine is the major problem. The interior line was subpar all year long, and lack of depth was the finishing touch.Incognito was the best of a bad interior line. He looks like Center should be his position. Carey is servicable at RT, but an upgrade will be needed soon.Jerry might be OK, but, again, more depth is needed if he cannot play up to his draft pick. I truly think the Dolphins must draft a

JT lost some respect with after Ricky Williams came back to the team. Remember when JT told us how Ricky Williams was a low life, and he'd never forgive him for quitting on his team? He even dressed up like Ricky for Halloween. As soon as RW came back,JT was all buddy buddy. Right then and there, it showed me that JT was not a man of his convictions. Don't get me wrong, it was in the best interes

not bashing Joe Robbie at all- just trying to show both sides of the equation... I didn't follow football at the time of the WFL, so I really don't know. Did every player offered a big bucks contract take it? If not, why didn't they?

Robbie was the guy who brought pro football to Miami, but he wasn't the greatest owner. He was notoriously cheap. He let Csonka, Kiick, and Warfield walk away because of $$. I don't know the particulars, but I'd bet he could have ponied up a little less than what the WFL was offering, and they would have stayed (maybe not Kiick-he wanted to start). He pissed off most every player for low-balling

ugh I cannot help but feel like this is a setup to fail, or as Cam said "I want this team to fail forward".... I just don't know what to say here... Really disapointing...
