I would think its probably a bit of both. He wants to do that now to us.
I am with you, screw it 7-9 I will be happy with even though 6-10 makes more sense, either way we will be better off.

Just want to play for the future. 2010 is over, looking at 2011 now.

7-9 and spoil the jets season...No difference in the draft slot.
I'm with you 100%!!! Beat the jets and then whatever. Sure I'd like to beat the pats too but I'd just looooooooove to watch fatboy's press conference if/when we beat them in NY!!!
IMHO, we can beat them. They've been eaking out wins against mediocre and bad teams. Broncos, Browns, Lions, and Texans all had the game in hand and gave it away. They're really not that good and the patriots outed them last night. We can come in and really hurt their feelings next week!

I would really like to hurt ryans feelings, beat the jets and watch him CRY like a little girl in front of the media and the world once again.
To me that would probably feel like we just won the superbowl. well, almost.
At least it will release some pain from us having such a terrible season.

RESPONSE: And don't forget that it also means we lose to the Patsies as well.

Remember this time around its going to be under extreme weather...Probably close to zero degrees..
Who knows we play well away and we play terrible at home so go figure.
Sanchez is an over-inflated Ken doll pumped up by the NFL's media machine. There's no way anyone is going to confuse him with a true Franchise QB, and I seriously doubt he ever grows into one.
In the Henne mold he shows the signs of a choker and is prone to streaks of inconsistency -- that usually will bite you big time when it matters most. Last, playing in the NYC market only adds to his "boyish mind" syndrome.
