Injury excuse sort of makes sense.... Was top rated corner until week 7 of 2012 then tailed WAY off with negative grades over the next 12 weeks (2 season) and then missed 3 games then 3 negative games then was out for season. Maybe Hickey knows something....we'll see. if he's right we could have a pretty good secondary. let's see what he does at LB.

It's basically those two...and then a huge drop to the next tier....and Gronk

Good luck with that minimum salary! What a joker. They already showed they have no loyalty to their players by releasing half the team last week....but he wants to stay. lol He may regret that when they release him next year at 31 years old.

When is the last time two Miami offensive linemen made the PB at the same time? I am for signing Strief and Smith if we can and then drafting one versatile lineman high and another in the mid rounds...4-5.

Strief and Smith! Shelley Smith's path is not unlike that of Evan Mathis, who is now the best LG in football. We had him on our roster but released him half way thought the 2008 season. He bounced around the league as a backup for about 7 years before he finally figured it out. Finally made the PB at age 32. I'm not saying he will be as good but he definitely has untapped potential. Clay was the 9th ranked TE last year in yards. 6th in receptions. He should only get better. If you want to argue that he is not a good enough blocker to be a complete TE then I would agree but Keller (and half the other receiving TE's) isn't going to fix that. That being said, the more holes we fill along the o-line, the easier it would be to draft someone like Ebron in the 1st....but as

“There was really no second,” Monroe recently told Erik Kuselias of NBCSN’s Pro Football Talk. “You know, because I did desire to be here. I was never at a point where I was strongly considering being anywhere else.”

I don't think 4.2 mil/year for a starting guard is starting LT money. That's what Schwartz got and he was the best available AND can play tackle.

New Orleans has less than 2 mil under the cap. They have no room to sign anyone after they signed Byrd.

Considering all he did was pass block....but at a VERY high level. Not sure he is a system fit @ 6'8 350

Would have been nice to have Albert next to Schwartz with Asamoah on the right! Just import the whole KC bench. Their backups were better than our starters!

Decker will be lucky to get 900 yards this year without Manning...IMO I had the same concerns about Albert and Delmas. The good news is when on the field he is rock solid in pass pro. And we can still find competition in the draft for the FS spot.
