He's the best DE prospect since Bruce Smith. I'll be shocked if he gets past #3 but I don't think there's any way in hell he gets past Atlanta at #6.

I can't argue and I will adjust it at some point. I just wanted to get it written down.

He seems to be a bit of a tweener for a 3-4 defense.

Mayock seems to like Mack better as well. Said he would take him #1.

Also....one of those QB hungry teams will be signing Michael Vick and trying to get one later.

I would love to get Aaron Donald! I think he'll be gone.

Sammy Watkins at 15? I think Pit needs defense badly.

Dallas has two good tackles. Think they put Martin at G?

I also think Ravens need offense.

So our OLine is the worse in the league and we are going to draft a TEnd or DT?

I hope whoever made that mock draft inst related to the phins org.

So which of these QB's will be given starting jobs as teams pass on the available QB's?

Matt Cassell, Michael Vick, Josh McCown, Josh Freeman, Matt Schaub (if released).

Also trade possibilities

Kirk Cousins to reunite with Shanahan in Cleveland

Rumors...

Matt Cassell to Houston
Cousins to Cleveland

I see Schaub as a backup....
McCown getting a shot somewhere after a great year.
Cousins getting a shot for a 2nd round pick.
Cassell as a place holder while a team selects a QB in a later round.
Vick getting a place holder spot.

There's not one guy in that fa group I'd count on enough as a starter to keep me from drafting a qb early.

Maybe cousins if I traded a lot to get him but that is it.

I agree they are not great BUT it may allow a team to take a player later like Derek Carr, McCarron, Garroppolo, etc and have a year to train them as a backup plan IF they don't believe in the top 3 guys or if the only one they like is gone.

Eesti we need a cant miss left tackle to cover the most important aspect of the offense. And that is tannehills blind side.

Thats why i think we need to trade up and draft the best available LT who is a stud btw. 6'5 300 pound. he would be starting material from day 1.

People do not agree with me and thats ok.

Tannehills health is the most important thing IMO.

RT's health and ability to have time to do his job ARE the most important thing BUT...

You don't give up a starter to get one. You add one thru FA!

By ALL reports this is the deepest draft in decades. We can get starters in the top rounds so DO NOT trade those picks. You are handcuffing Hickey. What if that traded pick turns out to be the next Steve Hutchinson or Troy Polamalu?

It is safer to depend on a proven vet over a rookie anyway.

Look at the top LT's last year. They sucked for the first part of the year. A vet can come in and perform in week 1.

Ian Rapoport ?@RapSheet 20m

Among teams interested in Michael Vick, don’t rule out #Jaguars. They want to bring Chad Henne back. But would be in on Vick or Josh McCown

Could be. But that's a dumb move.

You either have a QB in this league or you are looking for one.

If you are a GM/coach and you are counting on a journeyman/retread to make your career you aren't long for your job.

Now that there is a rookie wage scale, its less painful to miss on a QB early. There's no reason a team like Jacksonville shouldn't sign a FA to fill in short term and invest in a QB early if they think he's a franchise QB.

Albert Breer ?@AlbertBreer 5h

In light of the Henne news, I think there's a fair chance no QBs go in Top 3. Rams have Bradford. Texans, Jags won't force anything.

Alex Marvez ?@alexmarvez 5h

RT @ryanohalloran: I'll throw a $2 wager out there the #Jaguars trade down in round 2 and take Garoppolo<This is very feasible scenario IMO

Albert Breer ?@AlbertBreer 5h

Could certainly see a Top 3 of Clowney, Watkins and Mack going to Houston, St. Louis and Jacksonville.

Hickey has said he will take BPA regardless of position. Not sure I believe him as I don't see him taking a LT or QB or DT or DE

Mel Kiper has Houston taking Khalil Mack number 1 overall.
