If we simply focus on this year, there a couple things that we should look at: -Two receiving TD. Anthony Fasano had seven. -56 receptions. Camarillo had 55, Bess had 54. Pennington had an MVP quality season, and is clearly the most accurate passer in the league. He made a point all season to insist that he chooses no favorites, and his favorite receiver will always be the open man. As

Regardless, I simply don't like the guy, and I've made that no secret. I don't think he has any heart or desire, and that rubs me the wrong way. But perhaps you two can hold hand

Despite the fact that he's never played the position, Quinn is probably a better WR than Ginn. A cement mixer is faster on the uptake than Ted Ginn.

They all say that though. I'll believe him if he actually makes it happen. You don't get to be a billionaire without having a silver tongue.

Ha! Its no wonder why Kiper is slowly losing his job to Todd McShay.

Some of you have gone off-topic from the original post, which was about Signing Peppers should he become a free agent. I doubt many people here would be willing to trade for him. However, our free cap space for the upcoming season is large enough that signing Peppers would not be a liability. We don't need to spend money on a top ten draft choice anymore, and eventually we're going to need to

The single best play in the game is the spread single-back, four wide receivers, with Ronnie alone in the backfield. Fake an audible to force the defense to stop hiding its formation, and run it up the gut with a dive. I also use a lot of I-Form and offset with Ricky and Ronnie both in the backfield. That way I can pound it with Ricky, or send Ronnie out on a sweep as well. I generally only gi

I agree that, in general, its viciously inappropriate to laugh at the opinions of other...but that really made me laugh Sam. A lot. But anyway, I'm often categorized on these boards as one of the resident Machiavellian pessimists. Whether or not that is true is another debate, but surely I would be one to agree that there lies a great deal of fault in the entire offense, right down to the of

Isn't Antonio Bryant an unrestricted free agent this year? Unless Tampa franchises him, he's at the top of my list.

I'd love to see us grab a big center with the first pick and continue to fortify the offensive line, but we also need serious help at NT and DE. I'd be very content if we drafted for the trenches in the first two rounds.

I agree that Ginn just tripped over the rest of his family, and it was a good no-call. But Cobbs definitely got a strong grab on his facemask, enough to jerk his head a little. That was a terrible call. I was also incredibly angry when I saw Suggs slam his elbow into Ronnie Brown's face on the bottom of the pile then maliciously try to punch him with the other hand, only to see a defiant lack

I've been saying it all season, and I'll say it again...We still need more help on the offensive and defensive lines.

Roth went from DE to OLB in like 2 months. Something tells me he's got the mental capacity to play ILB. Not to mention he has the entire offseason to drop some weight and add some speed. Our linebackers have actually turned out to be pretty decent this year, so I'd rather give Roth a shot on the interior and focus on the offensive and defensive lines. We absolutely need a DT or DE with our fir

Which is exactly why he needs to be used on the interior of the defensive front. If he has the quickness to set the edge, he certainly has the quickness to play ILB along with Crowder. His lack of speed down the field can be hidden at

Ray Lewis simply tries to send people to the grave instead of actually winning the game, and he plays for a team that has devoted 90% of its resources over the last decade to defense, more than any other team in the league by a long shot. Zach Thomas is clearly the better football player.
