Reppa patting himself on the back? What a shocker.

Just as a side note, you're aware that you can actually post messages in topics created by other people, right? You don't actually have to make a new thread every time the light bulb briefly flickers on.

I don't like the Pat White pick, but I believe they drafted him specifically to replace Pennington in the Wildcat, not Ronnie Brown. The Wildcat forces at least one safety to cheat up play in the box, and as a result your corners are forced to play on islands. They want Pat White to draw the safety in to maintain one-on-one coverage on the outside. In terms of the Wildcat this season, its obvi

Most of you guys are still ignoring the fact that he's a very small NFL player. This has nothing to do with his character or desire, but its undeniable that he is very, very small. He might have been a proven winner in college, but that ship has sailed. This is a new game he's getting thrown into, and the lions are much bigger in this arena. Whats going to happen the first time he drops back and

It seems to me that one would have to grow up in a cave to be so unaware of the basic foundations of the English language. I'm not even trying to be insulting. I'm merely amazed that someone could get through life with such a staggeringly poor comprehension of language. I would be interested to know what this guy does for a living.

European football (soccer) has never held much of my interest, but I have had the opportunity to go to a few matches when business takes me over to London, and anyone else who has ever attended one can attest to the monumental atmosphere that accompanies the match. I have a feeling that this is the reason why the NFL has its heart set on giving them a Super Bowl, the only American sporting event

How about we trade a 2nd rounder for a better education system and perhaps some punctuation?

A QB will always be more important than a WR. As such, its very obvious in which direction the stats are skewed.

David Boston is a cancer. Keep him as far away from the Miami Dolphins as is humanly possible.

The Welker trade has always been a good deal for us, but the way in which those draft picks were used was terrible. These are two very different things, and not ultimately related.

What makes you think Bill Parcells is the type of guy who's going to draft players based on the brief success of a surprise-attack offensive package like the wildcat? What is it about Tuna's "Old-School as they get" persona that suggests he plans on drafting for a fad? The Wildcat was great improvisation, and a needed jolt to the offense, but there's obviously a reason why it was pha

I'm always fascinated by the fact that idiots like Mel Kiper can go on television and use meaningless words like "playmaker" or "gunslinger" and fans absolutely eat it up. Exactly what is a playmaker? Someone who has the potential to score whenever they touch the ball? Doesn't that describe every single running back or receiver that has ever played the game of football? A g

While the drill clearly favors the receiver, especially one as tall as London, he didn't simply use his size on every play. His body control was fantastic. He did a great job of coming back for the ball, and some of his cuts were very, very good. He showed that he can do a whole heck of a lot more than just use his height. Its definitely very encouraging to see him play like that.

I heard that Bodden only signed for the league minimum because he wanted to be a Patriot and he was giving them a big discount. He was seeking more money from other teams.

How about we trade Beck for Carpenter, Ware, Witten, and all of Dallas' draft picks for the next seven years? Right? Right? Bill Parcells can do anything right? Seems so logical. Right?

I believe it was reported several days ago that the actual salary cap is higher this year than was expected, allowing a little more room to wiggle. I'm not sure if the sources everyone is listing has taken this into account or not. This might explain the recent spending spree.

I'm actually a bit disappointed about Crowder being resigned. I think we can all agree that his numbers last year were not indicative of his productivity. He was far from being an impact, and the majority of those tackles came several yards downfield, while he rarely met anyone at the line of scrimmage without flying through the wrong hole. I don't think Crowder is a bad player. He's simply me

I can't recall anyone on this board ever making a point to suggest that the front office must try diligently to keep him from leaving. That about sums up the talent of Channing Crowder.

Perhaps you should just make a poll with only one choice, as it seems like you're looking for people to agree with your selection.

My guess is we go after Ramses Barden, but I seriously doubt we'll be drafting more than one receiver because We still have Ginn, Camarillo, Bess, Wilford, and London.
