Eli has Nicks, Smith, Manningham, Boss and 2 good RBs. Yeah, they missed some time, but they all played a good chunk of the season. Also, you are mistaken. Eli led the league in interceptions, not TDs.

Freeman was better this year than Eli has ever been, and Freeman has a fraction of the talent around him.

In no order, my 11 definites are: Brady Peyton Brees Rodgers Rivers Roethlisberger Freeman Schaub Flacco Ryan Vick I could go either way with these guys in terms of comparing them with Eli. Eli has had the HUGE edge when it comes to his supporting cast. Orton Cutler Cassell I definitely think that some of the young guys will be better than Eli too. Bradford, Stafford. You

I don't follow NCAA football closely enough to give scouting reports on many players, but I guess when it comes to NFL QB evaluations beauty is in the eye of the beholder. There is no way that Eli is a top 10 QB in my book. I can think of a dozen guys I would take over him. Also, wasn't Sanchez referred to as a franchise QB in a thread a few weeks ago? I think so.

It kills me that we gave up two 2nd round picks for Marshall and then signed him to a mega contract.

Agreed. His stupid penalties this year and his childish behavior in Denver last year have hurt his teams more than helped them.

Do you mean the 2011 draft or the 2012 draft? My issue with drafting a QB now is this: I believe we need to give Henne one year in which he has a solid supporting cast before we pass judgment on him. (One year doesn't seem like too much to ask.) If he was stinking it up on a good offense that would be another story, but that is not the case. That said, we have a number of offensive holes

I agree dolphaholic with getting another QB, but I sure don't want to see us trade multiple first round picks for that guy who is being brought in to compete. Take a mid round QB or go after a guy like Orton.

Saying someone doesn't have IT is very subjective. It's easy to look back and say that all those great QBs had IT; but not many people would have said that at the time. However, if by saying "Henne doesn't have IT", you mean that he doesn't have a good o-line, a good RB, or a good offensive scheme then I definitely agree. I also know that he regressed the second half of the se

I am not implying that Henne is a HOF caliber QB; but I do think it would be a mistake to blame the train-wreck that was the 2010 Dolphins on Henne. That's too easy. Even Sparano knows that. Henne can't be blamed for the lack of running game, the Special Teams disasters, the complete team collapse down the stretch. All of that goes on the coach.

I agree. In another thread, I commented on the areas that we failed this year (all aspects of our offense and special teams issues). Those failures led to these losses (Browns, Bills, Lions). The losses should ultimately lead to Sparano getting the boot. These 3 losses are inexcusable. Bills!!! Browns!!! Lions!!! ALL 3 LOSSES AT HOME!!! Honestly, how could a coach keep his job after th

Sparano must go. It's too bad because he seems like a likeable guy, but he has to go. Our offense has gotten worse in every way I can think of. The line is terrible. The running game is non-existent. Our QB has not progressed. Our star WR commits foolish penalties and speaks out of turn to the media, while rarely actually getting open. Our special teams is a joke. Beyond all of those th
