All I care about is whether or not she can officiate properly. That's how she should be judged. That's how Violet Palmer of the NBA is judged. No one even mentions that she's out there any more. She handles the coaches and players just fine and won't take crap from anyone.

I've always hated trading down. I think it's a bad move for teams that are talent starved, like the Dolphins. This is especially true in this draft where there are reportedly less than 20 legit first rounders. IMO the Dolphins' #1 need is CB but if the gurus are right, none may be worthy of the 14th overall pick. Trading down for one seems misplaced to me from a value vs. need perspective.

How do you measure severity in terms of compromising the integrity of the game? That's the subjective question. Spygate: Very severe. Fake crowd noise: Moderately severe. Deflategate: Moderate to very severe (depending on weather conditions) Just my "subjective" opinion...

It's an interesting question. Sexy comes and goes when you have billionaire owners all trying to outdo each other. Suddenly "good enough" isn't any more. Does that take 5, 10, 15 years? 20? Given the growth of the NFL, who knows! The Georgia Dome is only 20 years old and the Falcons are moving on to a new building in two years. The Dolphins stadium is older than that but the team has

Of course he does, and that makes today's decision to release Hartline even more egregious because he and Hickey know what Hartline can do when used properly. Update: O'Leary ran a 4.9 in the 40 yard dash today. I'm pretty sure Clay is faster than that.

The biggest reason why Jordan didn't play more IMO is that he lacks the strength to defend the edge at a pro level. You can't put a guy out there who is going to be a liability versus the run. That's what I saw and why I believe DC Kev

I was pretty familiar with Jeff Ireland's draft philosophy and methodology. I can't say I've got Dennis Hickey figured out yet. My take on the draft is that the Dolphins are very likely to draft defense...the most highly rated defender on the board since they could use help everywhere.

That list sends something of a mixed message to me. On one hand, it's a testimonial to Dawn Aponte and the front office that the highest rated Dolphin available is Odrick. On the other hand, the few names and the low rankings speaks volumes as to what people think of the talent the Dolphins do have.

But does O'Leary add anything to the offense they don't have already? If O'Leary is on the board at a value spot relative to his grade, then the Dolphins should draft him. But cutting Clay won't make the Dolphins better. They need more good players

Let's stop calling Dion Jordan a bust. He is not a bust. Don Reese was a bust. Eric Kumerow was a bust. What Jordan needs is a full, clean, and healthy offseason in the strength and conditioning program, which he will get in 2015. I also think he is a DE first and foremost but can be dropped into coverage to run with a physical TE like Gronkowski. Converting him into an OLB takes him away som
