All -- I'd be careful about what to believe at the present time. There is a lot of conflicting info out there, from various sources, and much of it is speculative at this time. The only things I personally know to be true are: 1) Incognito behaved unprofessionally towards Martin, motivations unknown. He was suspended because of it and is unlikely to return to the Dolphins. 2) Martin had an e

The magic number for this team is 7. They are now 3-4 and must be 10-6 for a realisitc shot at the playoffs. But does anyone think this team is truly capable of going 7-2 here on out?

This is a very serious matter re Pouncey. Dolphins have gone totally silent on the matter and charges are being considered by law enforcement. This is going to be a distraction for Pouncey and maybe the team for the rest of the season at least.

Hi samsam3738, the mystery issue with Jordan's shoulder will linger all season (mostly a byproduct of rehab, nothing serious) but he's learning to cope with it. He had a very strong game vs ATL. He's fast, yes, but also deceptively physical and can run forever. Jordan will get BETTER as the season progresses and he figures out what to do.

He needs a full offseason of training and development

I don't mind playing young players down the stretch...as long as they can PLAY. Egnew cannot play, which is why they can't activate him. His situation right now is not even laughable. Even Pat White was able to get on the field as a rookie...

Matt Moore is gone. He wants a shot at a starting job. I see him moving to the Jets, provided that Rex Ryan and Tony Sparano are still there. Sparano knows him and Moore knows Sanchez is vulnerable.

Ochocinco's language use on Twitter is very "colorful", funny, and often compelling. And yes, sometimes inappropriate for kids. The rise of social media has all but washed away the NFL of the past in terms of how we (fans) interact directly with players. It's a nightmare for guys like Dolphins PR man Harvey Greene because he can't control media access anymore. Many players today wil

We all love Cam's work ethic. My only worry is that some guys who get big money deals try too hard to live up it. They overly press and allow the stress to consume them, rather than continue to do the things that brought them success in the first place. "No days off" is hopefully a figurative term, rather than literal.

I understand privacy, but Philbin made a bigger deal out of this than necessary.

I don't think running a WCO will have much impact on the D. What it will do is allow the Dolphins to take better advantage of the South Florida heat in wearing opponents out. I've thought the Dolphins have gotten away from that now since Don Shula retired.

I've never understood the HOF vs SB ring comparison. To me, it's illogical. One is intended to focus on individual achievement, the other on team. They are mutually exclusive, in my opinion.

Always fun to stir up a beehive! Here's a question: Are the Dolphins waiting for their QB of the future to fall into their lap the way Marino did in 1983?

I am at Dolphin Camp today covering the team as they prepare for the Browns. What do you want me to ask Henne, Sparano, and the players? Latest news: WR Brandon Marshall has returned to practice, and we'll find out what Sparano has to say about that at his 3pm press conference. LB Karlos Dansby also worked today.

Interesting discussion here re Gordon vs. Bru. Gordon started as a rookie in 1976 and had over a 100 tackles pretty much every year. 1976 was the season I believe Steve Towle had that sick 200+ tackle effort. On the teams that he and Bru played on together, I think their numbers were pretty comparable. dolfanmark, you're right...thier roles were quite different. I do think Gordon might ha

There is an awful lot of fence-mending that would have to take place for the Dolphins to bring back JT. Would he be an upgrade over Roth at OLB? Sure. But at what price?

The potentially more difficult schedule is a necessary thing if this team is to improve. Will the Dolphins have a mediocre season as a result? It's too hard to say right now. Depends on the offseason and injuries (eg New England). I do not think Henne will play (as the starter) in 2009 as long as they have a healthy Pennington. They believe (as do I) that he can lead them to a championship. I

Good for Myron. There are many things in life bigger than football, and this is one of them. A once in a lifetime opportunity...he would have been a FOOL to turn it down. I wish him all the best!
