Lineman are like socks....you can never have too many. So yeah, I'm all for that being a draft priority. And believe it or not I did actually watch the game (New England TV channels are forced to show the Phins when it's a playoff game!). I guess it only *seemed* to me like we almost always ran to the outside. I'm not whining though, it was a great season for us.

I agree, but perhaps our OC's logic was our weaknesses at our interior OL vs the Ravens' NT, as was discussed in other thread(s). This isn't really an excuse though, becaus

I hope Beck gets a shot somewhere else. Baltimore would make sense. Of course, I hope even more that we get good compensation for him.

Isn't it true that BP's "out" clause has a 30-day window beginning from the closing date of the team sale? I believe I read that either on Salguero's blog or on another newswire story. If so, I'm holding my breath until the end of January.

But he did do a great job leading the Phins during the regular season, especially considering the way he was cast aside in favor of an aging, ineffective St. Brett. He guided us to a divisional

Good post Sig. I never envisioned Pennington as a "franchise" quarterback, but merely a bridge to Henne's development, and hopefully his mentor and our backup after that.

Mandich does not suck. He has that balance between being a homer, and telling it like it is. While he's the biggest cheerleader the Phins have behind a microphone, he won't hold back from legitimate criticism and commentary. While I did not hear what he had to say today, I'd think the last thing he'd want to do is kick the Phins while they're down. He was on our SB winning teams in the

Sorry I replied late last night privately....a million thanks for the offer, but in case anyone was wondering why I didn't accept: I live in the Boston area. A great opportunity for somebody....and I'm typing this 30 minutes from kickoff !

With JT I'm not so sure. How could he not rather be in the playoffs right now, in the city where he's been universally worshipped for so many years.

4880. Re: Proud
ladydolfan, welcome aboard. We do try our best to be civilized and keep it that way. I hope you stick around the phins.com board and that you will agree. Re booing one's own fans: I agree with you 100%. I remember hearing Miami fans boo Dan Marino on several occasions. I'd like to think those were semi- or non-converted Jets fans in the stands doing that, but it still was awful to hear

I saw this play on TV--can you elaborate? Did the geniuses in the stands think the INT was the cheerleaders' fault or are do they have ugly chicks on their squad this year?
