I also heard that Samson really wanted to live on the West Coast, to be closer to home. So he's got to be happy about it as well.

It sure was. Stunner, I know you're new on this board and all, but let's keep our posts about Miami Dolphins Football while leaving out the

A salary cap for baseball would help as well, but as long as people like the Steinbrenners are running the show, that won't happen.

I buy that tradition. In fact I was even PO'ed when the Colts left the division, even though they moved to the midwest.
I'm not in favor of running away to another division, that's cowardly. Even though the Jets lead the all

That would be giving away our home field advantage. The weather is a LOT harder on visiting teams in the early part

Leon, make that Venice, Italy and I'll take you up on that offer
Glad to see you're still around. (I'll bet you got that place for a great price!)
Count me in the camp that does NOT want Cutler for the same reasons listed above.

Not too bad in my book--the way his future turned out I'm glad he didn't play for us, even though he was a great runner.
As a kid I enjoyed watching us beat the crap out of OJ

Yeah, for one, they traded Vrabel to Pioli's KC Chiefs. That was the big sports headline here in Bost

Oh I'll never forget old #45. He had a great nose for the ball, getting lots of interceptions and blocked kicks during his career.
As a kid I remember watching him go to the sideline, take of his hel

Oliver was a hard hitting, very, very good DB, but Jake and Dick were better overall players. They had better noses for the ball and Jake was a solid punt returner as well.
Oliver leveled some serious hits in his time and that 105 yard interception was one for the ages. I always was a big fan of his, but he comes up just short of the other two in my book.

I don't think I've ever agreed more with a topic in my life.
Kooch was one tough SOB. He absolutely needs to be in the HOF.

Yeah, but why can't he do like Doug Swift! Be on a couple Dolphins Championship teams, then go do the surgery thing afterward! ( Swift became an anesthesiologist after his NFL

To answer the question in the OP:
I'd use a late 3rd / early 4th round pick on Tebow. I hope he learns a lot in his senior year.

My sentiments exactly. But I also see him going in the first round, not the fourth. That's why I think our best chance to get h

While it's true that most running QBs don't fare well in the NFL, Tebow can throw. And now that some college-like formations have become popular again in the NFL (wildcat, etc) you never know.
I wouldn't mind Tebow as a backup but of course he'll be a starter with a more desperate team. If / when he does "fail" as a starter in a couple years, that's when it'd be good to sign him

I doubt that team ownership (incoming or outgoing) is very concerned that opposing teams' fans are buying up all the tickets....as long as SOMEBODY is buying the tickets. To the owners, a stadium half filled with Jests fans is a LOT better than a stadium that is just half-full.
That money from visiting teams' fans, is still money. If our average attendance were 50-60% of capacity they they'd
