If they are looking to the 2020 draft to get their franchise QB, why would you want to sign a guy at QB who could win you a few games and cost you a top pick? It's not like Bridgewater is going to get us to the playoffs or be the long-term solu

Parker will never live up to his draft status because he doesn't work hard enough and he won't play hurt. In the NFL, if you won't play hurt, you're useless.

Getting rid of Larsen and Branch is addition by subtraction. In the case of Branch, whatever limited value he might have had was greatly outweighed by the size of his contract. Larsen was positively the worst starting guard in the league. I hope Gase signs them for the jets so that he can begin the process of destroying their roster the way he did ours.

Apparently they have video of the 77 year old pat owner... giving rise to a new Deflate Gate.

The whole Tannehill "debate" at this point is moot. He's not going to be on the team next year (very likely) and therefore I wish him well wherever he goes (unless he goes to the pats, bills, or jets and except when he plays Miami). Tannehill wasn't helped by the coaching or the personnel people while he was here. The offensive line has stunk to high heaven. Gase gets a hair up his ass

I love this hire. Solid coach with a ton of experience and a pretty good won-loss record as a head coach. Yes, I know that his stats are padded by having taken over for Tony Dungee in Indy and having Manning as his QB, but still we haven't had a coach with his pedigree on the Miami assistant coaching staff in it seems like decades. Great mentor for Flores. I like the fact that Flores is unafraid

First round picks (especially at #13) need to be sure fire things (as much as that's possible in the NFL Draft). Murray is far from a sure thing. I'd be pretty pissed if they spent a high draft choice on a guy that would be shortest starting QB in the NFL and who has aspirations to play baseball as well. First round picks can't be reaches. Rebuild the lines.

Harris has 3 sacks in 2 years at DE. Hard to imagine he could be much worse at LB. Worth a try.

Just watched an interview of Coach Flores by John Congemi and I have to admit, he looks and sounds impressive. Obviously, there's no way to predict what the team will look like or whether it will have success, but it was refreshing to listen to a head coach who was making weird faces, hiding his eyes with his hat, and being an ass to the person asking the questions. Yes, I'm referring to Gase. Al

They interviewed Dowell Loggains for the head coaching position? Really? Now I think they're just trying to piss off the fans. I guess they'll interview Burke next? Cam Cameron? Unbelievable...

If Gase continues as the play caller for the offense, employs substandard assistants, and jettisons talented players because they don't sufficiently bow and scrape before him, there's no reason to believe that he won't fail again. If (and it's a big if) he's learned from his experience in Miami, and is willing to change how he coaches and acknowledges the mistakes of the past, who knows what c

Of the coaches that have been interviewed, I guess if I had to pick from the lesser of several evils, I'd say Kris Richard. Flores is very green and Pats assistants don't have a great track record as HCs. I really like Rizzi, but I don't think he would be able to assemble a decent staff having been in Miami for so many years. By default, I'd have to say Richard because he might have the highest c

If the news coming out about the search is correct, it's down to Flores, Richard, and (to a lesser extent Rizzi). My problem with all of these is the same problem I had with Gase when he was hired. What kind of staff can they assemble. Gase had the most inept, unprepared, and useless coaching staff in the league. There are a lot of reasons he failed, but having people like Burke running the defen

The scuttlebutt seems to be that Kris Richard is the guy they've targeted. So much so that they cancelled their interview of Fangio. I admit I don't know much about Richard other than the fact that he played one season for the Dolphins, and was supposed to have had some hand in coaching Seattle's Legion of Boom. My concern with this hire is the same that I had with the Gase hire. Can this guy ass

The things that Gase has done badly in my opinion: 1. The obvious one is play calling. He stinks at it. Problem with changing this segways into number 2 2. Terrible assistants. Burke wasn't even a good linebacker coach, and Gase makes him the coordinator because he didn't want to change the system? The defense has stunk since Gase has been here. Dowell Loggains is another example of a crapp

I think we can all agree that Tannenbaum is a blight on this franchise and the very first thing that should happen is that he's fired and ushered out of the corporate offices with an escort by security if he's not moving fast enough. Then, what I would do is find someone with a very high football IQ to interview potential replacements for Tannenbaum's position. Ron Wolf comes to mind. Bill Polian

What's worse than being done is knowing that Ross won't do a frigging thing about it. Tannenbuffoon, Grier, Gase, and Olivadotti.. I mean Burke will all be back next year. Now I know how Bill Murray felt in Groundhog Day.

The man is 35 years old and getting limited carries and has over 700 yards so far this years. Truly a consummate pro who deserves all the accolades he's getting and is going to get in the future. PFF has him as the #6 halfback in the league this year. Again, amazing.

Bellichick deserves some credit too for putting Gronk (or as I like to refer to him, "Meathead" in at safety. The sight of him stumbling was priceless.
