The problem that I have with all this is that part of "tanking" should be to evaluate the young players on your roster. With the ineptitude of the offensive line, it's going to be very hard to know what you have in your running backs, wide receivers, tight ends, and QB. Whether you think Rosen is a long term starter or not, there's no way he's been given a fair shot to prove that he is.

JJ didn't draft offensive players well. He did a pretty good job rebuilding a defense that stunk when he arrived. If you'll remember, what ended up pushing Shula out of coaching was a loss to Buffalo where Thurman Thomas rushed for some horrifically large number of yards-- 200+.
