The Pittsburg game will be the first game I get to see since week 1 & 2. I hope it stays interesting, and Miami is more competitive than those 2 games. I still remember watching the last MNF game between these 2 teams. (at least I think it was the last time they played each other Monday night) It was the 2007 3-0 game. Where the only interesting play was a punt that the ball got stuck i

If the whole future depends on getting the 1st pick and getting Tua then I'm worried. I understand the importance of a franchise QB but we have all these picks so not getting one player should not be an utter disaster. It might be a setback, it might take an extra year but there has to be another QB next year who could shine.

I agree with astro34. If I lived close enough $16 is right in my affordable zone.

Trading down. I completely spaced out on that possibility. You are correct but I don't believe Miami's draft will be a disaster if they don't get first pick. Not with all the picks they have.

Just say Miami wins. Miami goes 1-15, Wash 0-16. Why would Washington pick Tau or the QB of the day on draft day? They just drafted a new QB, (1st round, 15thish) which apparently is what helped get Gruden fired. I kind of doubt that another team will pick QB's in back-to-back first rounds like Arizona

I read he was 33. That is that young. He just thought he was smarter than people who look for these scams 24/7 and found out he wasn't.

Another silver lining. The Dolphins won't be in the SB that has Jennifer Lopez & Shakira as the halftime show.

I'm just not comfortable locking on one player. If Miami does get the 1st pick and another team gave a really good offer for that first pick I would probably not protest it.

I still worry that Tua will say nope to playing with us. Or go back for his senior year.

That's true, it's easier to make sure your team is relevant when you pay the officials to keep your QB's pedicure perfect.

So say this rebuild plan works. We get great successful picks in the next 2 drafts, play free agency great and in 2 or 3 years from now Miami is a scary team that is winning everything. Sooner or later all these new young hot players are going to need resigned around the same time and if they are good, they will want major money. What happens then?

I know it's late in Brady's career but how awesome would be if Miami dug themselves out of this hole, (bottomless pit?) turned it around and be the 1st team to win 3 SB's in a row while the Patriots had Belicheck, Brady and were still good.

Miami had better be pouring loads of money into the best scouted draft class ever. I'll give them that it is probably impossible to hit 100% perfection but they must be amazing

I want Jim Caldwell to take his time and get his health back, but after the Ravens game I think Miami really needs his coaching experience right now.

What if we do stink as much as they showed yesterday, we draft Tua and he pulls an Elway/Baltimore or Eli Manning/Chargers and says nope, not playing for them?
