If the whole future depends on getting the 1st pick and getting Tua then I'm worried. I understand the importance of a franchise QB but we have all these picks so not getting one player should not be an utter disaster. It might be a setback, it might take an extra year but there has to be another QB next year who could shine.

Just say Miami wins. Miami goes 1-15, Wash 0-16. Why would Washington pick Tau or the QB of the day on draft day? They just drafted a new QB, (1st round, 15thish) which apparently is what helped get Gruden fired. I kind of doubt that another team will pick QB's in back-to-back first rounds like Arizona

So say this rebuild plan works. We get great successful picks in the next 2 drafts, play free agency great and in 2 or 3 years from now Miami is a scary team that is winning everything.
