I'm just thinking your first pick, especially that low at 5, should be someone who can be part of the foundation of your team for year to come, and when they don't turn out that way they are considered a bust. His injury, right now, has ME too paranoid to pick him at 5.

I think it is helping Flores that he doesn't have the "You must win" pressure from above on him this year. He has a year (maybe 2) before Ross starts getting annoyed with his team. He has this time to learn the ins and outs of being HC without the some of the worries. I'm not saying Flores and the team don't want to win. We seen that they do, but the OR ELSE isn't there this year.

Parkers health might always be a concern but I think now he has the coaching to take his game to the next level. The future will hopefully give us the Parker we wanted when he was drafted. A little bit late but still plenty of time.

I think RF's will to win is rubbing off on the younger players. That and they realize if they can shine on a team that is rebuilding, that all the "experts" trashed earlier this year, they can maybe have a job next year.

Even if Miami does not get the high draft pick in the upcoming draft the coaching staff is giving me hope that that piece might finally be in place. They have this group of mostly nobodies and cast off playing their hearts out. Hopefully Flores & company are the real thing.

It seems to me that Ross wants to own a winning team and is taking advice on how to do it. He is hiring (hopefully the right) people for the rebuild. Snyder always acts like he wants to be the next Jerry Jones of the 90's. He wants to be the one responsible for rebuilding the Redskins.

I was thinking about the Fitzpatrick 4th down run at the end of the 3rd. Was the way it was reviewed legal? I thought the refs only had 3 minutes to make up their mind and the extra time for the quarter change shouldn't be used. 10 minutes seemed overly excessive.
