Is anyone else scared that this means the revitalization of the wildcat, as opposed to its death? Don't get me wrong, I love this move. I just hope they're planning on using him in a lot of double-back sets, and not intending to use him in the wildcat.

Also keep in mind that Henne has a reputation for being a very unintelligent QB. I've seen his mental capability oft compared to a "bag of rocks". I don't know about you, but I don't want my QB to be the dumbest guy on the team.

I would much rather see us throw some money at Zach Miller, and then sign Vince Young and Marion Barber as opposed to trading for an expensive journeyman QB....again.

He has a reputation for being dumb as a rock; not a trait you want in your starting QB. If we spend the next 20 years drafting 1 QB every 4 years, statistically we're probably looking at another decade of ineptitude, at the very least. But as sad as that outlook is, this franchise has already become a joke. The owner is a clown. The GM has no balls, and the head coach is nothing but a cheerlea

Here's whats going to happen. You're going to get mad at Sporano that he won't put this guy on the field as a rookie. Then he finally will and Henne STILL won't find him. Then you're going to get mad that we don't have a QB. It happens every year. I would have rather taken a risk on a guy like Tyrod Taylor. Regardless of how much you can stretch the field, you still need a QB to deliver

Great. We pass on a QB yet again to draft another Ted Ginn. This guy can't catch the ball.

Another Ronnie Brown is not a bad thing at all, especially one that can stay healthy. At several points in his career, I would argue that Ronnie was the most dominant overall back in the league. He simply couldn't avoid injury and stay on the field.

Without a doubt, one of the classiest guys to ever play in the NFL.

It is no longer worth drafting a RB in the first round because the effective career of the average RB in today's NFL is so tremendously short. A platoon of "lesser" RBs, in combination with a strong offensive line, can be incredibly successful. This strategy also allows more flexibility and protection against injuries, as well as creating a much better foundation for the team's runni

I love the emphasis on the line, but we need more than one player on the interior. As far as I've heard, Incognito does not want to play center and prefers to stay at guard, so if we would still be without a real center which would hurt. This move will only work out if center is addressed this off-season as well. It might still be better to trade back (if possible) and pick a center/guard w

Kolb seems far too similar to Henne to warrant interest in trading for him.

Does anyone else think we need to take a serious look at Ponder? Considering how many teams ahead of us need QBs, its starting to look as if we should try to trade down instead of reaching for a QB in the middle of the first round. If we can move back and pick up an extra pick, we can address the interior of the offensive line with the first two picks and maybe grab Ponder in the third.

I've always heard that Henne is about as intelligent as a bag of rocks, so despite the horrible play-calling from Henning, I'm not sure they really "ruined" him. On the other hand, they didn't exactly help him develop either. Regardless, the two people responsible for that failure are no longer members of the staff. You need the total package to be successful in the NFL, which includ

My bet is that Ireland brings in Marion Barber to be the lead back and drafts a younger guy to develop behind Barber and Hilliard.

Given Tuna's influence on the current staff, I would be shocked if they took a RB in the first round.

I genuinely hope nobody extends their season tickets next year. Maybe then Ross will finally understand that we are tired of supporting a consistently mismanaged franchise.

So, we hired the OC from the only AFC team to score fewer points than the Dolphins. How does Ireland still have a job?

I don't think Chilly likes to run a traditional WC systems. I believe he likes a hybrid that includes both smash mouth and west coast philosophies. I guess it is a mixture of quick hits and ground & pound. This might impress the current staff, who might be more inclined to make a change to a hybrid system as opposed to a full blown WC system.

I want the Jets to lose simply because its funny to see Rex Ryan cry at the podium when he loses a big game.
