Stills an asshole? LOL... just about *everything* you hear about Still suggests the exact opposite - that he is one of the nicest guys on the team.

I don't recall any reports of him missing any time at all. This seems like much ado about nothing. We don't know *why* he only just signed. Maybe it was on the team end... "it takes two to tango" as they say.

Moving on from Tannehill at this point was probably the right decision, but the simple truth is, Tannehill never had a chance in Miami. He only played behind a legit NFL caliber offensive line for like 10 total games in his career here. The rest of the time he had an O-line that fared about as well as the average high-school line would expect to fare. As for Rosen... I think he has a chance t

QB is a huge position of need, definitely. I'm just not sure any of the QB's that are being hyped as 1st rounders this year are really good enough to justify the Phins taking them. But, hey, I don't watch shit-tons of college football, and maybe I'd feel different about one of these guys if I'd seen them play a lot. I will say this though, regarding Kyler Murray in particular: short QB's playi

Drafting BQBA is stupid, if the best QB available isn't any good. I'm not opposed to going QB in R1, but I'd only do if IF there's a guy there that the team believes is a real Franchise QB. Otherwise, draft a lineman (OL or DL), then take a flyer on a QB in the mid rounds (Brett Rypien, Kyle Shurmur, etc.), and the, if we're as bad as expected this year, take a QB high next year if necessary (

Tannehill was a QB who volunteered to play WR to help his team out. The time he spent playing WR in college is a credit to who he is, not a knock on him. I can't believe some people still haven't figured this out.

I'm assuming that all the apparent amusement stems from this line: > Unless they see something in David Fales or Brandon Doughty that makes them think that one of those guys is a legit NFL QB. > JC Wrote: > That post reminded me of the Monty Python sketch > where Graham Chapman emerges from underneath a > Scotsman's kilt, looks nervously at the camera and > says &qu

I actually have extensive medical training... by which I mean I started an EMT class once and dropped out about halfway through. On the basis of that, watching many hours of ESPN, and residing at a Holiday Inn Express last night (and saving 15% on my car insurance by switching to Geico) I project that Tannehill will be ready to play to start the 2018 season and will be the 'Phins starting QB.

> Look for a fast smart MLB and 2 athletic corners. Well, you can never have enough good CB's, but... I don't think we really need 2 new corners. Xavien Howard is pretty good and Tankersley was decent for a rookie. He should continue to improve. AND we should get Tony Lippett back this coming season. Bobby McCain has been improving as well. I don't have any objection to adding more

Honestly, even though we have lots of needs, I really think there's only one way to go in the 1st round, unless there just isn't a player at this position, sitting at #11, who is any good. Linebacker. Linebacker. Linebacker. Yeah, sure, we could use a TE, a backup RB, a backup QB, oline depth (and maybe a starter at RT), another DE, and maybe a S that's good in coverage. But our LB

That game didn't have any "playoff implications" *for the Dolphins* so why should they go all out to win? What, to play "spoiler" for Buffalo? As opposed to finally getting some serious game-time and evaluation film on a guy who might be their backup QB next year? What a joke... Fales should have *started* the game... with Doughty as his backup. There was no reason to e

IF we re-sign Dion Sims, I'm fine going into the season with him as the starter. No, he isn't "special" but he's adequate, and we have much more important needs to fill on the defensive side of the ball. I can't see how we justify drafting a TE in round 1. Now if they can find a guy in the later rounds who's a "steal", then fine, OK. But unless something crazy happens in pr

A lot depends on what we do in free agency. Like Tannebaum (or was it Grier?) said - you want to be able to line up and play a game on draft day, so you have the flexibility to go BPA. Not sure well hit that lofty goal or not, but it would be nice.

Tyrod Taylor is just average. He wouldn't be any kind of upgrade over Tannehill, so why bother?

This season is already a success to me. I thought we'd go 6-10 or maybe 7-9. To even get to "winning season" is enough to make this season a success. Playoffs is just icing on top. To actually win a playoff game... well, it could happen given that we already beat Pittsburgh once. But I'm not counting on much more at this point.

Linebackers, linebackers, linebackers. If I were in charge, I might use every pick in this draft on a LB! OK, just kidding, but that is such a huge hole on this team and has to be addressed. Outside of that, I'd probably look for at least one pass-rushing DE, given Wake's age, and at least one Center, given Pouncey's injury history. LB DE C are musts. Everything else is optional

Matt Moore is a nice backup to have around, but he's a career backup for a reason. There's no question that Tannehill is the more complete and polished QB overall.

They may still elevate Doughty. Christensen said they haven't definitively decided on Yates as the backup yet. But Gase did make a point of saying that they wanted somebody with experience, which makes sense. Basically you're trading off "know the system" with "having NFL game experience". Both are important, and I have NO idea how coaches weight those two factors when mak

They didn't take the ball out of Tannehill's hand. Who made the great throw to Landry on 3rd and 7 late in the game? Who made the throw to Stills for the game sealing TD late in the game? Just because we're not coming out and throwing the ball 40 times a game, doesn't mean we aren't still relying on Tannehill. The thing is, NOW we have balance so Tanne doesn't have to do it all by himself

> Kap disrespected our military. How? By not standing for the national anthem? If so, I call bullshit. I don't see any objective basis for saying that that is disrespectful to anybody, much less the military. And if it is... so what? Most of what our military has done for the past 50+ years has more to do with securing profits for evil oil company executives and corrupt politicians, t
