Looks like I'll have a lot of free time to do other things. I will tune out like I and my neighbors did before, during the Krapper-dick kneeling era.

Weaver was the only player they got off my board...but I have moved on and will support whatever happens going forward. Like many here we just have to put faith in the leaders of this franchise and dream of the day we are back on top of this division kicking butt. Sidenote: I will be closely watching AG as a backup to Wilson now

More than likely the team will let him honor his native ancestry and let him wear #5 which is the hardness of obsidian. Everyone plz drop your rocks...it's just my bitterness when Simmons fell into our lap and they once again gamble with a high pick. I still think this was the owner's boy more than anything else. But whatever...it's in the books now...hope it pans out.

Not in relation to the players the team picked, as that assessment will not be known for at minimum a year from now...but this draft coverage was just un-watchable. I was so pumped to finally be able to step away from all this pandemic crap and have a nice, comfortable evening on the couch with nothing but sports talk...only to be slammed at every lengthy break with terrible tribute singing and

Seems 808, samsam and I are all on the same page. Nice to be in company of those who see the same potential.

And that is my biggest fear also...having another team, especially a division opponent... grab him before us. After Burrows I do not want to see anybody else but A.G. in Aqua & Orange. I am all in as stated earlier.

Here ya go folks...got rocks to throw at each other...living in the past...just can't get over the fact the boy wonder is not here anymore...whatever. Here is you thread to air all your high fives or all your reach arounds. Dump it all here so the rest of us don't have to sift through this non-sense on every thread. Jeeeeesh !

Beyond Burrows...there is no starting QB in the first round. They are all projects. Build the trenches and get a great RB in the early rounds. The "best" project IMO that costs the least is further down the board. He has the quickest release of all these QB's in the draft and can make something out of nothing...which is part of the "it" factor. How was Brady so successful g

My list is not in any particular draft order...just my fav guys to see in Aqua and Orange. No QB in round 1 leaves us the chance to land a stud at 5 and more than likely no dud at 18. Agreed on RB. Forgot to add Akers from earlier post in other thread. Tough call on where to grab AG. Free agency QB moves by others will provide a better picture. If they trade down the 5 to some desperate team

Updated draft list from Jan 24th... Still sticking pat at #5...no trade ups from that position...and still sticking to earlier list with one addition due to Thompson staying for his senior year. RT: Isaiah Wilson LT: Mekhi Becton DE: Curtis Weaver OLB: Isaiah Simmons ILB: Erroll Thompson ( out ) , Clay Johnston ( in if med. cleared ) OL: Tristan Wirfs And again...all in on QB A.G.

I don't want to trade up either...just posted the articles implied scenario. Trading down and getting more picks would be ideal, "if" we can still get who we are targeting. I don't see any pressing needs at WR,TE,or Corner as we stand now barring exit trades. Howard's situation in the eyes of the coaches is a concern, and safety is another situation that could come calling. We do ne

Getting back to football on here should be the priority now. The partisan games should end, just like they did yesterday outside of sports. Moving on...who do you want to draft at QB, RB, OL, Edge, DL etc. I've posted some of my desires, and now I just read an article where the Raiders trade up to take "Mr. Glass", and we trade up from #26 to take Love at 23? Lots of scenarios be

Herbert gets MVP for scoring once in the first quarter on a screen pass ? Gordon leading the North scores 3 out of 4 drives and is barely a mention beyond CBS sports online last night after the game? What more perfect candidate to join the "always left outta-da conversation" Fins.

Not at all finished with draft research yet, and hard to gauge where the coaches are leaning on upgrades, but... These are some of the guys I have looked at and would be happy to see in Aqua and Orange, RT: Isaiah Wilson LT: Mekhi Becton DE: Curtis Weaver OLB: Isaiah Simmons ILB: Erroll Thompson OL: Tristan Wirfs And again, just for the record, the one pick that would make me the happie

Tua is damaged goods. If he sustained all those injuries in college that required "surgeries"...he is not built for the NFL period. You could have all the talent...but displaying it on IR gets us nothing. It would be another wasted high draft pick. GMHO The senior bowl ( 1/25) will tell us a bit more where these tier 2 QB's stack up going into the combine. For the record once ag

Hurts is my #2 choice Ken. Good body of work so feel he will go higher in the draft. My pick is Gordon. From everything I've watched and studied on him, something is just telling me that he has the it factor.

I was not replying or responding to Ken's post...just stating that in a previous thread I posted the desire to go non QB in round 1. I have not posted here in a long time, so my posting ettiquet is probably off. Sorry. I would even prefer to trade out of #5 if the right moves happen and we could get another 2nd out of it for this year.

Fair enough ChyrenB, but with the general consensus that anybody we pick is going to either be the "chandelier" ( really high risk @ 5 ) or a project that is going to sit and learn anyway... I would rather draft starters for next year in round 1.

For the record...I've already posted here those same sentiments. I do not want to use any 1st round picks on QB, but do want to take a flier on one in the later rounds for grooming under our veteran and to provide a Tcamp /preseason challenge to Rosen. It would be a low risk / possible high reward play. If Rosen is going to be the backup again ( I'm hoping Fitz is under center next year )...le

For the record...big NO on Tanny coming back. Moved on from the "deer" which was still evident in moments in this last game. No high draft placement, and too many dumb free agent signings hurt his chances of success here during his tenure at Miami. Wishing him all the best and yes...it's fun to watch him grow under a new team. Okay...now that the "chandelier" has declar

100% correct ChyrenB. Nobody here wants the "patriots" GOAT. No way on Marino's turf.

Fun to watch cause that's all we'll get to do as he is out of reach and that's a good thing. Never reach for a player. Ditka type moves are foolish. I hope we don't gamble on a QB in round 1 period. More pressing needs and this is a multi year rebuild. Trade down no. 5 if you can still get that stud LT, DE, etc. Load up next years war chest more.

It is being discussed that the move was made to retain Schuplinski who would have been plucked by McDaniels. This move should make some here happy that we are more likely now to pick a future QB prospect, as we've just shielded the guy that they feel is more "integral to his development". It was a decision they were forced into it appears.

The Superbowl is the hardest game for the NFL to rig today. Way too many eyes and DVR recordings vs. years ago (i.e. Neil O'Donnell). The NFL is "not" a sport...look it up...it's "entertainment". No different than WWE wrestling. The matches are steered to present the best possible outcomes for the biggest revenue stream. The Patriots won when the country "needed"

I turned the TV off. It's the only thing I can think of to help. Every time I sit down and watch they lose and usually big, so let's see if the "lucky charm" of not watching will voodoo-mojo this team to wake up and make some damn tackles. Going out for a cigar break...my heart is heavy...but my fingers are crossed that we do not become this weekends embarrassment. p.s it's freaking

The only thing "Greasy" was shaped like a football...picked up by the defense...and run 69 yards the other way for the coffin nailer.
