The way things are going, we probably won't see NFL football this season. College players hoping to improve their worth in 2020 won't be on the field to gain experience or to impress. What about the 2021 NFL Draft? NFL teams don't know who can play and who can't from their picks in 2020. Will the NFL actually play football in 2021? The constant uptick in new infections continues to stymie ev

Late to post, I saw the news within minutes of it being made public. Very sorry to learn of Jim's death; it makes me think deeply about my own career, what was, and it brings home the reality of growing older. I enjoyed the Butch Cassidy/Sundance relationship between Kiick and Czonka. The local media played that one up. The threesome, Czonka, Kiick and Mercury Morris, proved more than opponen

"Let's go T, Let's go T" from the crowded stadium quickly turns into "Let's go Pee, Let's go PEE," after a few beers and TDs. The fans will select the easiest thing to chant. Heck, it just might be a long held loud TEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! All of this is futuristic....I still wonder if games will be played in 2020.

A coaching legend. He was missed from the game and will be missed from life as well. Heartfelt condolences to his family and to my fellow Dolphins fans. Colonel

Charles Harris never lived up to his potential, or claimed potential because there wasn't much real potential there.

This draft is getting quite interesting now--chess-like moves.

Breida is one of the fastest runners in the league. This is a very promising move by the Dolphins and should boost our running game. I like this move very much.

We traded for Breida? I blinked and missed that. Commentary of TV isn't very up to date. I was watching and the Dolphins were on the clock and then suddenly the 49ers appeared. If we did get Breida, he's fast.

RB may be out of the question. We need help at the LB position.

This is the day where we load up on "possible" talent to fill holes in the OL and DL plus LB. Still have to wonder if a RB, a brute RB, will be selected. So far I am not overly excited about the picks.

Our 3 first round picks are now of record so we move to the 2nd and 3rd rounds soon to see how the OL and LB are fortified. Go Dolphins!

I was not totally surprised that the Dolphins selected Tua. He certainly proved his talent while healthy playing for 'Bama, just pray that his recovery is still going well and that he can regain his full health in the months to come. If he does, we have found our future star QB. Tonight we should fortify the OL and LB corps and maybe pick up a RB.

With most of the nation hunkering down to slow the spread of Corvid-19, most NFL fans should be looking forward to tonight's first round selections. The Dolphins have a lot to gain if they select the right players. Whether we take a QB with one of our picks is anybody's guess. I just hope that whomever the team selects that player will immediately improve team spirit and play. The presentat

There continues to be trolling and lots of friction between SamSam, TC, and ChyrenB, that is thwarting others, IMO, from wanting to post on this thread and other threads. It seems every topic degenerates because comments between you three (3) devolve into name calling and nastiness. It may be time for the three of you to take a break from posting on the forum. JC, and Curt (who is now a Floridi

SamSam, TC and ChyrenB--stop talking about Tannehill, what he did and didn't do for the Dolphins. Stay focused on the topic or this thread will be closed very quickly. Colonel

Congratulations to the Chiefs. It was an incredible performance. Andy Reid has an exceptional team with an exceptional QB. They will be contenders for several years.

Tonight the 49ers play the Chiefs. It's been 50 years since the Chiefs were in the big game. While I don't have a "dog is this fight" I am rooting for the Chiefs. It comes down to one thing as far as I see it. If the 49ers offense can slow roll the game that keeps Mahomes off the field, the 49ers will win the game. If their slow roll fails to do that Mahomes has the fluidity to take ov

Don't get carried away JC, Samsam is quite biased about RT because all he wants to do is ridicule him and push a cream pie in TC's face because RT didn't get to the SB. Tannehill is not a dud. He played quite well with the Titans. Mahomes is simply exceptional and perhaps the most talented QB in the NFL. A reasonable person watching the game can't think that Tannehill was a bust for the Titans.

The Titans have an offensive line and one super running power back by the name of Henry. Every player on the Titans is doing there job well. BTW, KC won't be able to stop Henry and I expect the Titans will go to the SB. RT is doing a good job and you have to give the guy credit for his current success with the Titans.

RG3 comes to mind when I think of Tua. I also felt RG3 had too small of a frame and would be injured ruining his potential as a long term NFL QB. Taking a chance on Tua is extremely risky.

The Patriots dominance has faded and they are just another good time. They, IMO, missed Gronk who was a tremendous offensive asset. Antonio Brown's hiring and immediate release left the offensive without a dominant receiver. I also noticed that the zip on some of Brady's passes this season wasn't there. I'll bet Brady will play one more year to avenge this wild card loss; Kraft will hire him

It certainly appears that Flores and his assistants are better than what we've had in the past 19 years. I am optimistic, very optimistic that the team will continue to blossom.

This thread was started and the last few words are notable after yesterday's win against the Patriots in Gillette Stadium: "...our Dolphins aren't a push-over anymore." That needs to carry over in 2020. I am looking forward to a promising off season with top prospects adding to the grit factor Flores has developed the past 10 weeks or so.
