This dude looks to have regressed since his rookie year. I am not sure I have ever seen a case like this. It ridiculous how uncomfortable this guy looks.
Did we really think it was going to be different? I vowed after last year to cancel my season Tickets, but Sucker I am, ended up calling this week and paying for them... What a sap I am, can't help it, every year I think hey maybe it will be better....
I wonder what the matter may be, what can we blame it on, let me see, HE CAN'T PLAY !!! No, that can't be the reason, will have to find the real reason, just have to keep looking !!!!!!!!!!!
Well here we go again!!!! Henne picks up right where he left off last year,WTF an INT already??? This is going to be a loooooong season again, Im so sick of the TRASH we put on the field!!!
There are Crack Whores that suck less the chad henne. Good news is that Mat Moore actually looked decent. Tony better seperate himself from chad henne already or he will go down with him.
Its baffling to me that this organization continues to give the reigns to a QB who, in his third year, is STILL locking on to receivers. The guy is a complete bust.
When he threw his second interception, he looked to Bess, hesitated, stared directly at him for a couple seconds and made a horrible decision. I can forgive a QB for poor timing in the preseason, especially given the circumstances of the offseason, but he doesn't have the mental game to compete. Plain and simple.
On a positive note, Gates scored a touchdown tonight! That was definately encouraging. And he would have had another one had Matt Moore not overthrown him on that one deep pass to the endzone several possessions earlier. Fingers crossed this kid is the real deal.
I fkn hate that guy AGAIN ALREADY!!!!!!!!!! I know alot of you guys say it preseason....blah blah blah it doesn't matter blah blah. Answer me this, why do the top contending teams look sharp as hell and even without their starters put up more points than we ever do in real games and lately MIAMI looks like confused dogsh*t?
WHY....because they are not that good....that is why.

Well, Im cautiously optimistic. I didn't see him hold the ball too long as I did many times last year.. when he ran, at least he looked like he knew what he was doing, instead of like a stumblebum, like he did last year..I still need to see him in the two minute drill and in the red zone..I hope I don't see him throw two fades in a row to a 5'11" guy when he has a 6'4" guy on the other side, and I don't want to feel that with two minutes left and its our ball on the 30 with three timeouts left that the damn game is over.
There were multiple times that the receiver simply ran the wrong route.
It's very difficult to get the offense going when everyone is not on the same page.
This learning curve comes with installing a new offense... but, it also appears that there is some read and react action that the receiver is accountable for ... we have to accellerate the learning curve if we are to be ready for game 1.

This is a great point. On one play, Hartline ran the wrong route. On the second INT, Bessie ran the wrong route. These are your dependable receivers. It is hard learning a new offense. This system is based on the Pats' system. It is going to have a much more complex passing game than the Paul Brown offense that Henning ran. It is going to require growing pains, from everyone. And you saw that last night, with experienced, veteran receiver running wrong routes.
Seriously though. What is it about Chad Henne that makes his ball so hard to catch? His recievers seem to have more dropped balls then anyone I can think of. Marshall himself drops passes from him right in the numbers. Does he put a spin on it or something? Then again..........Defenders have NO PROBLEM catching them........

You do realize that Marshall has been at or near the top of the league in dropped passes each of the last 4 years, right? It doesn't matter who is throwing him the ball, he's going to drop plenty.

NOT Bess. He is as reliable as you can get. Seems anything Henne throws is uncatchable , even when its right on target.
