Chyren is cool, he is just overly analytical, and sometimes he doesnt understand that it can be overwhelming to others. It is just like him, not liking when there is emotion in how I write. An analytical guy wouldnt like that. However, coming from what I have learned and understand about writing and communication, is that a certain level of heart is needed in writing or people get bored and dont "feel" you... As a writer or communicator for that matter you should always have equall parts heart/passion as much as knowledge/intellect in what you are communicating... Or in law, the difference between a trial lawyer and a non trial lawyers, is ability to communicate emotion at will on different levels... It takes all kinds, but we should stay away from personal attacks, as you said earlier... Enough, I dont want to be longwinded, cheers

PF2- that is because everybody interjects their own emotions and personal feelings at times into what they read and how they interpret it. It is why you can listen to song or piece of art, hate it and at another point in time , mood, emotion. relate to it, or like it... When you make movies or music, you learn to makes your notes and plan early and dont rely on to much of your interpretations of the moment as it is happening... Becasue the interpretation isn't normally to accurate...


On Chyren, I think he writes his best stuff when there is emotion involved, I feel it...

Writers are told to pour heart/emotion into the first draft and your brain into the rest of the drafts..If you dont have passion about something dont write about it until you do...

I think If Henne throws one stupid int tonight. And doesn't offset it by throwing 3 tds then Moore should get reps with first team next week and start 3rd game.

I feel pretty comfortable predicting that Henne will never be anything more than what he is right now. A decent backup. He may find success someday if he finds the perfect marriage between coach and system ala Rich Gannon....not that I think he will ever be that good.

Henne is steady making progress. He will surprise many this season.

let's see him have 2 and more good games in a row. consistency is his biggest issue---from quarter to quarter and game to game

With a solid line in front of him his consistency will improve, has to.

Henne aint bad, and everyone leave the man alone because we would all trade places with him in a second.

I guess I should not be surprised. No one give Henne credit last week on the couple of times he escaped pressure, including scrambling for 10 yards to convert a 3rd and 9. He had another 10 yard scramble tonight, wiped out by a penalty on Murtha. He had a 17 yard run to set up the Thomas score. And the 38 yard pass to Fasano was great because he managed to control a terrible snap, avoid the rush, and hit a big play downfield.

Henne played very well tonight, but we really need to see him play into the third quarter.

His footwork seems much improved, but he still seems to be afraid of the post route. He passed up a clear TD pass to Fasano on a post in favor of a dangerous pass to Bess.

Still, his performance was encouraging.

In 2010, Chad Henne's highest passer rating came in the 3rd quarters of games, 95.6. In the 3rd quarter, he completed over 63% of his passes with no interceptions all season.

You're right. I was thinking of the fourth quarter.

He sucked less tonight. Kind of like a crack whore with a new set of braces.

I'll say this though, he impressed me on that run right before the half ended. He passed the first down marker and he purposely took a shot to gain 5 more Yds and almost a score. Like to see Tom Brady ever do that.

Lets face it , consistancy is not a Chad Henne strong point. But With his play tonight , there is NO WAY he will unseat Moore. So lets hope for the best.
