Henne Looked Good tonight, he looked to be in command, at the stadium you had the feel that the O could move the ball at will. Bush was exciting, the crowd was really into it for a preseason game, we even had the wave going..... Been along time since I left Sun Life feeling good... Now I hope this can continue from week to week....
Yep they did the wave, but that's a big deal in Miami, the fans usually don't get int the game like you see in other stadiums.. Was nice to see some passion in Sun Life, the crowd also started chanting Reggie Reggie... Good night at Sun Life tonight
Henne looked great, despite some not so great route-running (at times) and a few drops (FASANO!). Still struggles with that deep ball, one to Hartline, another to Clyde that couldv'e been big completions. But I loved how confident he looked on the line pre snap, and also making plays in the pocket (who knew!). Also like his ball placement. If he is going to miss, do it in a spot where the defender can't make a play. We saw that a few times out of Henne, like the 2 overthrows mentioned, as well as another when he escaped the pocket and threw a ball to Lex that was safe and also had a chance. People want to hate, but saying Henne isn't developing is flat out ignorant. I saw a projection for him on ESPN (I think) that had him going something like 13-17 for 2700 yards.. I mean REALLY? Makes no sense that he go backwards like that, maybe I'm wrong. My prediction, 22-17, 3800
I have only seen highlights on NFL.com, but I really liked the pass to BM on the crossing pattern. Brandon didn't have to break stride one bit, which was a thing of beauty considering he usually came to a stop and then sort of slid down backwards trying to reverse direction last year. Nice timing, accuracy & placement. Just one pass, though.
