I have compiled all the posts above, it appears that, eliminating duplications, in addition to the Dolphins, we root for:

NBA: Heat, Bulls, Knicks. Celtics, Thunder, Mavs. Lakers
MLB: Braves, Marlins, Expos, Red Sox, Rockies, Rays, Yankees, Cards, Whitesox, Cubs
NCAAF Hurricanes, Purdue, Illini, maybe Cal
NCAAB UCLA, Purdue, St. John's, Hurricanes, maybe Cal
NHL: Islanders HABS (FROM MONTREAL) Blackhawks Sharks

I'm looking for them to bounce back hard in Game 2. They need to take Game 2. If they don't, then I don't see them beating Chicago.

great game! I am so much happier today than i was after game 1. They need to keep their foot on the gas and take both in Miami, then we're sitting pretty for the Finals!

I agree Berk, They just needed the gator blood of Haslem, to counteract that Gator blood of Noah that dominated us in game 1. Those gators are the unsung heroes of their respective teams...Noah's energy secured the game one victory and Haslem's that of game 2. Haslem is the heart and soul of Miami, which is why he is a captain... Maybe Miller will come out of his shell, and show he still has some gator blood left in him...Go Heat!!!

Where were the first two games played, Miami or Chicago.

If Miami, it's not so great news. If Chicago, it is great news.

Haslem really showed his value last night. A team with 3 stars like MIA really just needs hustle guys who do all the little things to win, like Haslem. Miller is OK as a hustler but he's pretty useless if he's afraid to even shoot the ball. Though he wasn't so good last night, J Noah is really the perfect kind of player like that. Haslem was great.

HEAT! So nice to follow a dominating team for once! Phins take note!! It's not the lame-ass celeberity owners that get the fan base excited, it's putting a quality product on the field.

Dont look now boys, I have faith that within the next 10 years, Miami will be known as the new "Title Town"!!!!

Heat will win a bunch of titles, the Phins will win a couple, and the Marlins wil get 1.

MIAMI, THE NEW TITLE TOWN!!!!!

Nah, we are just a really good QB away from being a Superbowl contender.

Maybe if that QB was Dan Marino....and even THAT probably won't be enough.

if you put marino on this team I'd say we'd be one of the favorites to make the SB. We've got a better defense than marino ever had and skill players he could get the most out of.

No, I am serious. Whether it be Henne finally stepping up, or if we had any other real good QB, I firmly believe we would contend for a Superbowl. We have a top 5 defense, and I believe our offense would be top 10 if we had a good QB.

Now, if you are insinuating Ryan Mallett, or any other QB from this draft, then no...I dont believe in any of them. I dont think Mallett, or any other is an upgade over Henne.

That being said, it still doesnt change the fact that we need a productive QB.

When Dan was at his best we had better receivers and a better O-Line than we have now. I agree, our defense is better than the Olivadotti years, but not THAT much better. JJ's defense was better, and Dan played for JJ when we had that great defense. Problem was the offense stunk.

None of Marino's recievers were as talented as Brandon Marshall. Paul Warfield is the only WR we have ever had that is more talented than Marshall.

Marino never had a RB that was as talented as Ricky or Ronnie.

If we had Marino in his prime, we would win the Superbowl next year.

If duper and clayton played with henne during their carreer they'd never have sniffed a pro bowl. if bess and marshall played with Marino they'd both be putting up huge numbers, even hartline. something to be said for putting the ball in the perfect spot, in stride, each time...
