But I am only pointing out that if an organization is "hotly pursuing" another coach, then that means their current coach will be fired.

nothing is guaranteed. I'll believe it when I see it. As for Harbaugh, college coaches have a very bad track record in the NFl and there is a steep learning curve. I want Sporano out but this is very risky. But I'd rather have harbaugh than another year of FG fist pumps.

The difference is Harbaugh is a NFL coach in college football. His transition will be a lot easier than most.

I'm not 1000% YES!!! about him but he's young, bright, and seemingly hungry. The fact he's been in college and coming into the pros can help on the personnel side for 3 or 4 drafts.

One thing for sure, Stanford made VT look poorly coached last night.

He was a QB coach for the Raiders for 1 year. What exactly qualifies him as an NFL coach over, say, Nick Saban who was the DC for the Browns for 4 years?

Victor I didn't make a statement regarding Harbaugh ultimate qualifications - but he runs an legit NFL offense and certainly has NFL credentials.

Therefore it’s reasonable to expect his transition from college to the NFL would be smoother than most college coaches.

So you want a unproven Harbaugh? Jesus help us.

I don't think "unproven" is the right adjective.

He’s “proven” a lot and has sufficient NFL chops to be a SERIOUS HC prospect.

You guys are a bit jumpy on this, this isnot a done deal, merely columnist speculatin which means - Squat in my book!

Not planning to get overly engaged until something tangible surfaces.

For the record, I agree. It's only Jason La Canfora who has reported anything at this point. Every one of these new "blurbs" has his name on it...

Until we hear more from OTHER reporters, it's all speculation at this point.

Don't know yet I am not all that excited about him, but at least it would be an attempt to get better, I Just don't know how he would work out in the NFL.. I guess I could give him my support if he does get hired, hell I sat threw this season why not at least one with him... I would much rather see Bill or Chucky myself, then I would be sending my check now.....

How did that work out for us? How did Saban work out for us? How has ANY COACH BESIDES JOHNSON, AND SHULA WORK OUT FOR US!!!!!!!!
