You're right, this could be a long day. Between injuries and the way this team is coached and managed during a game, we'll be lucky to win another game for the duration of the season.
My Raider observations:
If Jason Campbell is going to play, stuff the box & Cover 2. He is not a very good QB. He holds onto the ball too long, locks onto receivers and doesn't see the open ones. Gradkowski adds more life & spark to their team, but he's coming off an injury and hasn't played for a while.

Hey, lets be realistic guys, I am not the bad guy here, its whats best for the team long range, you guys are all short sighted, this year is OVER deal with it! Lose the rest of the year and we have a shot at a premium player or can draft down and pickup more talent, we have been in this sitaution many many times, but eventually they will get it right.

I'm all for playing without anything to lose, trying new formations and plays on both offense and defense, and evaluating young guys over the old ones, but I will NOT rejoice in our losing!!

I just dont see winning as helping us in the future. I agree to try out all the 3rd stringers etc to see what you have, maybe a hidden gem etc, but if you lose the raiders game we are getting better and better on the draft list.

Its not loser talk, want this franchise to get better we need top draft picks, if you dont think that then we are in for mediocre years for another 25 years or more.

Son refers to you as a "young minded" who needs guidence, got it my son?
guys, the raiders are no great shakes. I don't think it will take a miracle or anything for us to beat them, in fact I think we've got a pretty good chance.

A loser? Lol. I'm educated, make a great living, no debt and you call me a loser? Lol. You don't even know me.
Why do you guys "fight" among yourselves? History has proven that to win you must have a "can do" attitude. Don't make your opinions personal. Everyone is entitled to their own belief system --respect that--and move on.
As for the Raiders--I despise them. Don't hate them--they simply are an end product of Al Davis--a gent I would never break bread with.
The Raiders have been a thorn in the Dolphins's side for decades. They have a consistent history of beating us when it counts the most. When they were riding high I was miserable--when they fell down, they were deserving of that and life was in balance.
The Raiders are trying to rebuild like the Dolphins--I'd like to see a strong game from us resulting in a big win over them.

RE: There is ALWAYS an upside whether you win or whether you lose.
This team as it is right now, will not make the playoffs and the season is in effect over.
I don't want to see us lose a single game AND we should try like hell from top to bottom to win each one. But, the fact remains that the team will be better served right now by losing our remaining games.
We need more talent and we have a much better chance of getting it by drafting higher in each round. The fly in this ointment is that the staff has to actually pick the correct players and ensure that they are PLAYMAKERS on the field...if they screw that up neither winning or losing makes much difference.
