Oakland has been blitzing 8-9 guys all game, and it seems the Dolphins only response to this is max protection. Yet, in each case Henne's two receivers (sometimes only one) are running deep routes. Henning is going to get Henne absolutely killed if he refuses to give Henne quick options to counteract the blitz, while also refusing to let Henne make his own calls at the line Re: Chad Henne's hot reads.

Date: November 28, 2010 02:12PM Henne is allowed to audible, and he has been all season, and last season, too. It was never reported that he is not allowed to audible. And if you actually watch the games, you see him do it all the time.
And according to profootballfocus.com, Henne excels in blitz situations. Coming into today's game, Henne had been blitzed 133 times, and he was completing 67.5% of his passes against the blitz, with a passer rating of 96.1. Re: Chad Henne's hot reads.
