But, Henne completes a higher percentage of passes, and for more yards per attempt. So, he hits his WR better than Stafford.

Ok but Stafford would have completed the pass in the endzone to Fasano, to go along with the three INTS on the day.

Stafford has MOXY with a horrible O-line that has big trouble consistantly protecting him.

Henne has deer in head lights with a solid protecting O-line .

If I compare Henne to Brees everyone will laugh. lol

It took Brees about 3 years to finally get going. Could happen to Henne.

Drew Bress sucked for about his first 3 years.....

thats the reason they drafted Philip Rivers.

Interesting, provided all the whining I see that we could have drafted Brees. If we would have, the same folks would have been calling for his head on a platter after his first season (or some of you, after his first scrimmage, the "he's a bust' posts would litter this very board).

Ain't that the truth.

LOL....thats exactly my point. These guys are going to whine no matter what.

Drew Brees never played well until his final year in SD, but by that time they had already invested a top 5 pick on Rivers. Brees had to go.

Maybe the coaches should have givin John Beck more time to develope?

Drew Brees stats his first 2 full years as a starter (he barely played as a rookie)

2002 320 - 526 60.8% 3284 yards 17tds 16ints 76.9 rating
2003 205 -356 57.6% 2108 yards 11tds 15ints 67.5 rating


Henne's stats his first 2 full years as a starter

2009 274 -451 60.8% 2878 yards 12tds 14ints 75.2 rating
2010 176 -277 63.5% 1900 yards 8tds 10ints 78.2 rating

I would say there are very similar---so for those writing Henne off, there's hope. Brees was considered a joke after his 2d year as a starter---that's why SD took Rivers in the first round the next year

LOL we all needed that, it's certainly been a frustrating year, seeing our team not prepared, an organization that takes us for granted and wondering when are we going to get serious about getting the right personnel on this team to be a winner, Im not not just talking about players but the coaching staff as well. If you haven't noticed we're becoming the farm team for the NFL, players leave our team and become develope really good once they are put into positions that best utilized their skillsets. We draft a guy who strngest point is the deep ball and we fail to compliment him with receivers that has speed to stretch the field, his weak point is short to mid-range passes yet our offense is designed for short to mid-range passes. Go Figure!

Well what are the trips to the red zone look like or fourth quarter play where it counts.

Henne is great starting the game and does fairly well throught the game, its the redzone and fourth qtr that makes me fringe and scream like a little girl.
