At this point in the draft, its a good value pick.

Not expecting anything out of the kid really. Has lots of flaws but hey ya never know.

I just like how we are loading up on defense and let them fight it out in camp and only the strong survive!

Read & React: A bit inconsistent in this area, as he's aggressive to come up in run support. Can be tricked by good play-action, though he shows the change-of-direction agility and straight-line speed to recover. Rarely out of position, even if fooled initially. Ballhawk who keeps his eyes trained on the quarterback and has the burst to close on underneath routes.

Man Coverage: A bit high-cut and lacks the foot quickness and loose hips to come down and cover NFL receivers out of the slot, but has good straight-line speed and fair change-of-direction ability for centerfield. Fluid athlete that competes for the ball.

Could be a FS candidate as well from what I read.

With all of the attention Eric Berry (Tennessee), Earl Thomas (Texas) and Taylor Mays (Southern Cal) have received, Jones has gone a little under the radar for those outside of the SEC. NFL scouts see the big-hitting ballhawk as capable of making an immediate impact at either safety position.

I like it! Lots of defensive bodies picked! Should be able to get a 2/3 solid players out of this.

Fox Sports 7 round mock had us taking him in the 3rd(#73), before we traded back in the 1st, making him our second overall pick.

this kind of value picking is what's been missing this draft from us. compare the ravens draft to ours and you will see the difference bw drafting bpa vs drafting to fill a need/role

This kid has "confidence" or is just stupid

In a conference call he said he should have gone in Rd 2 or 3. And compared himself to Steelers Saftey TROY POLAMANU

I love players from Georgia, they are usually tough guys with good motors that keep chugging

well he was projected as a 2d or 3d rounder, so thats not that out there. if he is 1/2 of what troy p is, I'll be thrilled
