You two are comical. Your looking for some kid to come in grab these guys by the facemasks and magically make them great........its a pipe dream . Your like some spoiled brat on Christmas morning praying for some uber expensive gift. But your parents hopefully are smarter then you and your getting a chemistry set to help you later in life instead of something expensive and wasteful. DEALIO....

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

BTW, Joe Namath was the worst HOF QB ever. His stats sucked, win percentage, TD/INT ratio everything. Had a great year and made a prediction (and played for Alabama). Just in case anyone wanted to know.

We are in a no win situation, no matter who we draft. Someone will not like the pick. Hope we draft well, fingers crossed!

Namath played in NY. Everything gets inflated there 'cept the Yankees of course. They still think the Knicks are relevant.

Why are we comical tcpf?

Because we want a future for this team?

You really think you got it figured out dont ya?

If paid profesional coaches havent been able to fix this team in the last 25 years or so, do you think you can?

They been trying to do your plan forever here and it hasnt worked out.

Time for a change.

Understand what we are saying and let it sink in for second.

Then maybe you will see the light someday.

Its a few coaches that have.

And guess what?

We in the cellar dude.

Maybe the best way to build a car is by getting the engine first...

Then build around the engine and add the accesories.

Wake up TCPF.

An engine won't move a car with no tires...

And the tires wont run without an engine...

The engine is the most important part in a car.

Just like the qb is the most important part in a football team....

You can still push a car with tires. No tires no rolling.

Although I do agree with you about the QB being the most important piece. I still think we have a QB who can succeed with the right group surrounding him.

There are very few QB's in this league that can actually carry a team.

If one of the top 4/5 QBs drops to Miami, I could understand Miami drafting him. Miami cannot trade up to get a QB (or a player in any other needed position). Miami doesn't have the ammo to trade up.

I am hoping that when Miami comes up, that there will be a particular player that a few teams truly want and would be willing to make a trade. If that is the case, AND Miami doesn't trade back too far, then I am all for it.

Too many holes to fill. Trading back (a few spots) will help as there will be, more than likely, a couple/few extra picks for Miami.

Now, as long as the brass doesn't screw up on the picks, Miami will be able to improve.

If A QB actually dropped to us.....my god we could rape a team like Buffalo who has the most picks in the first 3 rounds then anybody.......wow.

But after ten years and that Buffalo QB turns out to beat us like a drum ..... what would all those later round picks mean???? Oh, I know what you are going to say......you are going to say it will surround Tanny with a Greise like team.

The contradiction in your position, however, is that you, like the rest of us, know that out front office is staffed with idiots. So they would screw up those lower picks, even if they tried to draft at the positions that you are advocating.

In hoping Gase is a voice of reason in the draft this time around. Our Oline picks have sucked.

Too much work to do, too many holes to fill to take a QB in round 1. Doesn't matter wo we draft, he has to be protected. doesn't matter who we draft, our defense was bottom 10 in pass rush, and INT's (related stats) and bottom 1/2 in every other meaningful stat. The QB is the most important position on the field, but even the 2nd coming of Marino couldn't carry a team that cannot defend, or get out of their own way on rushing downs. Great QB class this year, but there will be others, and until we can build a solid team around O-Line / D-Line ... picking a QB first is a waste of our top pick (in my opinion)

Dilfer (Baltimore), Kap (49er's), Flacco (Balt again) and yes Flacco is garbage, Grossman (Bears) and I would even say Foles last year since he was the winner not necessarily the reason they got to the playoffs.

That is just going back to '06.

The majority of the others teams had Brady, Rodgers, Brees, Roethlisberger, Ryan, Newton and Wilson. Even with Wilson and Newton they both had amazing "D" behind them.

Grimey, I'm not saying there has never been a Super Bowl winning team without a good QB. LOL. Of course there has been.

But there have been 50 odd SuperBowls. How many of those teams did you mention????

I don't remember hearing 40 or 30 or 20 even.

You said name a great team and I thought Super Bowl winning teams were pretty great.

But not all those guys won Super Bowls either just took their teams to the Super Bowl.

There are plenty more teams that had serviceable (I would not call them great) QB's that were able to carry them to the playoffs and beyond.

I just don't see anyone in the top 5 falling to us. If they did I would not be totally upset or pissed. I would prefer a beast LB over anything of course. I think our 2 weakest positions are LB and TE and of course the revolving door that is the O-Line but that is better with the Free Agency adds and loses I think.

And that was only going back to 06. So 12 years...Shouldn't be able to list 20, 30 or 40 teams.

You said recent past. I did that off the top of my head. I am not going out and researching this. I had a free 10 minutes and thought I should chime in on it.

Plus unlike you I wasn't born before the Super Bowl was the Super Bowl. I am a young buck so I can't answer for those old legends that you grew up watching.

Cincy, it is hard to pick a QB because there is no guarantee he will be a success. But that goes double for running back and that goes triple for receivers and that goes quadruple for secondary players and kickers. And....that goes quintupple for linemen and multiply that when you are following Treasure's suggestion and picking those linemen in later rounds.

Are you sure you're on board with that?

wait a minute chren check this here....

Weve picked a qb twice in the last 30 years or so since marino in the first round.....

And they both worked out......Marino was a star and tannehill turned out very good too...Not by marino standards but he is very capable...

TCPF WHAT MAKES YOU BELIEVE THAT IF WE PICK ANOTHER QB IN THE FIRST ROUND HE WILL NOT BE VERY GOOD.

So far we are 2 for 2 in 30 years.

Guarantee you that if had picked a qb in the first round in between those years we would had gone further in the playoffs.....

1. ROdgers
2. RYAN instead of jake long YUK
3. Brees..

And wanted either of them and we didnt even tried to get them

JUst like i wanted deshaun watson last year and we didnt trade up.....Look it up.
