It's Sunday. Today we face the 6-5 Baltimore Ravens in a contest of wills.
Our O-line is still not healthy and the Ravens' defense may take advantage of it thwarting the running game. Hopefully, pass protection will be potent enough to give Tannehill time to throw and connect with our receivers.
I can't imagine this to be a high scoring game, so it really will be a game of wills. We've been fortunate to string a number of wins together (we are rolling) and today is another big opportunity to continue that string. I like Flacco but he's known to thrown a few meatballs in haste. We need to be looking to intercept. Let's see how that effort pans out.
Our game is in Baltimore and starts at 1 pm. Go Dolphins!

Sam that was completely unnecessary. Our defense is completely failing. They need to give up the Zone and go Man to man. Thats what we are paying SUH for. To open up and extra man to handle the middle of the field.
Everygame is NOT won & lost by the QB. The more you blame Tannehill for everything including whoever didn't outfit the team with the right Cleets and blown defense coverage the more ignorant and biased you look.
I think I'm the jinx. I just turned off Redzone. Every time I try to watch they lose. I turned it off last week just before that final SF drive. Here's hoping for a miracle 2nd half with press coverage and a pissed off Jay train to open up the offense.
The Ravens defense is double teaming Cameron Wake on every play. Where is the pressure from inside?
Receivers have too much room to move allowing Flacco time to lead them for catch and run.
Tucker is one heck of a kicker. Maybe the best in the NFL right now.
Samsam--I agree with TC that we are not behind because of anything Tannehill didn't do. It's all on the defense at the moment. Hopefully adjustments are made and Ravens don't score more so we can possibly catch up. At the moment, it looks bleak, very bleak.
We were taken to the woodshed and thrashed about the whole body. 38-6--what a whipping.
The Ravens figured out our LB situation--inability to cover--and they used the crossing routes and center of the field to make us look incompetent. Once they were up 21 points...we were no longer in the game. The defense failed miserably and being behind by 3 TDs is just too much for our offense to bear. We're growing but remain capable of being out coached and out played. Ravens Defensive coordinator did a stellar job figuring out our passing weaknesses.
This is a game where we fired and fell back. I hope we can improve upon our pass route coverage so we don't have another loss next week or the week after etc.
Despite this shellacking; the sun will rise tomorrow.
I just got home and looked at the highlights. Holy shit...what a beat down this team took. Hopefully our coaching staff looks at this thoroughly and learns something from it. Big time reality check.
