One thing I have noticed with Tannehill over the last few weeks is his entire persona has changed. He is leading, telling players what to do, being more assertive.
Did anyone notice how he was directing traffic last week....telling players where to line up when they screwed up? he did it and did not get rattled.
He is also much better and more comfortable in the pocket. He is stepping up when he needs to and running out of it when he needs to. He juked a couple pass rushers out of their Nikes last week.
Dan may be helping him get more comfortable with these things as he points out things in the QB room. He is certainly taking on some of Marino's better qualities.

This is actually the one area that I think Dan could of helped him, as far as watching tape and pointing out what he should of done, the coaches could/should do that. Either way, if it starts getting picked up by the national media that "Dan has turned around Tannehills career" there's gonna be friction from it, hopefully it doesn't get blown out of proportion.

Lol. you certainly never said he could do it. I welcome all onto the bandwagon, I've never turned down a Ryan Tannehill convert. But you need to hit the pavement bro.you never once gave Ryan an once of respect as he learned the most difficult position in pro sports with little to no help.
Your opinion has zero cred.

I agree, under Sherman, Tannehill always took very big strides or steps. It was good in that he was always well balanced and ready to throw, it was bad in that big strides are not good in the pocket and for avoiding the rush... SInce Lazor got here, his major change was to Tannehill's footwork.. More like a boxer's feet.. Quick smaller steps in the pocket and then set before throwing.. At first it messed up his accuracy, because, he wasnt getting set as well before throwing.. Now he seems to shuffle and then set or throw on the move where he already is pretty balanced because big strides work outside the pocket... His progression in footwork has been a big deal... But it also made him initially go backwards with his accuracy...
At least that is what I have noticed from a layman's perspective...
Also the progression of being able to do more with Lazors playbook.. There is only so much you can learn in one offseason and a few games.. Every game Lazor's offense seems to develop more and more..
