Since a certain know it all blowhard has declared I'm the only Philbin "supporter" on the board I'd like to know who you guys think or want as the new coach.
Our 5th head coach in 11 years. Who do you think it will be?
Lazor if we fire mid-season...who really knew Mike McCarthy before GB picked him up?
And, to reiterate, I'm only in favor of letting Philbin go if Ross has decided it's playoffs or bust and he doesn't think Philbin can lead the team to 8-3 from here on out. If those two things are true, why wait?
The only one I can think of worked for the organization: MIKE NOLAN.
Heard he and coach Mike Smith are on different pages. No way Chucky, Captain Comeback and saliva master Bill Cowher. FROSTLESSBURGER, FROSTLESSBURGER, FROSTLESSBURGER. I do miss those Bangcartoon animated shorts. The page was hacked.
After suffering through Wanny running his fingers through his hair saying he had no answers, Saban's fake challenge flag and lies, Cam Cameron's complete loss of the team, and Sparano's fist pump, I don't think I could handle yet ANOTHER HC change. Was today perfect? NO! Did we have a chance to win against a very good team? YES!
What I think we need is another season of Hickey. I've been impressed with his moves, and it will take more than one season to clean up Ireland's mess. I don't think Philbin is the main problem. Our inconsistent QB doesn't help.
I also think a number of things went GB's way today just by luck. That fumble recovery during their final drive was the clincher. It sucks to lose, but I was satisfied overall with the way we played today.
Some people just won't get it. We almost beat a very good team. Yeah that makes us a mediocre team. I do not know about some of you but I am done watching my teams players overcome stupid coaching.
Ever since Philbin was hired, this team almost always starts out sluggish on offense; sometimes not even scoring until nearly half-time. The defense held GB to just 10 points at the half, but the offense only scored 3.
Personally, I'd rather have Sparano/Henne than Philbin/Tannehill with this current roster.

Montequi, I want to preface this by saying I haven't been able to see the whole game, as yet. I am hoping I can watch it tomorrow. But, in the meantime, from what I know....
Overall good game? I understand Miami played poorly the first half. Came out like gangbusters in the second half and both sides of the ball played well, until....
The last four minutes, when from the coaches on down blew it.
there you go again. lumping people on one side or the other and I said nothing about Sparano. You did, clown.
I'm not anti-philbin nor pro-philbin. I'm pro phins and I want to see them succeed. I don't think replacing the coaching staff and turning over the roster every 2.5 years is a recipe for success.
What I'd like to see is him learn from his mistakes and become a good HC.
But hey, you keep putting words in my mouth to rally your "anti-philbin" cohorts if that's what floats your boat.
"Anti-philbinites UNITE! JSM08 just said something nice about him IN MY THREAD of all places! Mean girls...ATTACK!"
