That's how you throw the deep ball!

Everyone who does it has to be taught. But not everybody can be taught and I'm not talking about understanding either. I'm talking about native ability. And it's not JUST arm strength either. It's a mental thing that combines to utilize and AT OTHER TIME REIN IN your arm strength.

Agree the deep ball is a touch & timing issue; how hard to throw, how much to lead the receiver, how much trajectory to connect but not hang it up for DB's, a stong arm doesn't guarantee success. Ask Jemarcus Russell, Akili Smith, etc. Only time will tell here

No doubt, if we had Luck as QB we would be in the playoffs.

Just praise his greatness why don't you? The man is damn good, and very humble I might add.

Sure the deep ball is only a small part of the game but a necessary part. And that small part multiplies when you go out and get a speed burner like Wallace who you get to open up your short passing game.

Not saying it overrides everything else but what would our record have been had we been able to connect on the deep balls missed and blamed on BOTH Tanny and Wallace.

I would think that the THREAT of the deep ball is a BIG part of the game.

The deep ball is huge when you have Mike Wallace. If you can't connect this somewhat neutralizes Wallace's strength, he needs to get better as an all round receiver but the deep ball problems were Tanehill's, He chose not to throw him under the bus hoping he will get better. Brandon Marshall would have!

Wallace and Heartline dropped as many as he missed. Same for clay and Matthews. You guys are way too focused on the long ball. Whole team needs to tighten up.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

The long ball is an easy TD. We needed to score more of those TD's by the way.

I'm talking about native ability. And it's not JUST arm strength either. It's a mental thing that combines to utilize and AT OTHER TIME REIN IN your arm strength. right on brother!

You can do it or you can't.
