BINGO, I have zero emotional attachment to Incognito, I've actually advocated getting rid of him in the past because I don't think he fits the scheme Philbin is trying to install, but this whole mess tells me all I need to know about Martin........so add "RT" to the growing list of needs this off-season. Lets see, LT, LG, RG and now RT are all huge needs now, oh and add in zero depth......nice job Ireland
possible add C to that list depending on pouncey's legal issues
so in addition to being historically bad, here is the status of our starting OL:
LT--McKinnie, on last legs. who'd have thought he'd be the "model citizen" of the group
LG--Incog--suspended indefinitly, will never play for us again and likely to become poster boy for "bullying" in today's NFL locker room
C--Pouncy, subpoenad in murder investigation, proud supporter of A Hernandez
RG--John Jerry, he sucks but he never stole a freight train
RT--Martin--headcase cry baby pu$$y, will never play for us or maybe anyone else again
NICE WORK Ireland!!

This whole thing is just a smoke screen to cover up the fact that Martin left the team for no REAL reason and the only way he can get away with it is to file a grievance with his rep. I hope Incognito sues the hell out of everyone involved when this is all over.

I think you're pretty close to the truth with this one. The supposedly horrifying VMs have been released, one where Incog calls Martin the word which cannot be uttered and threatens to poop in his mouth and hurt his family. Context matters. If this was said at my lawfirm it would be beyond the pale and the person who said it would be gone before you could blink. But in the context of an NFL locker room, where I am sure Incog thought it was his (however misguied) role to toughen up his LT, can you really take these voice mails at face value? Was he really going to poop in his mouth and injury his family? Did Martin really think so? I tend to doubt it. If he Martin so upset by in when the VM was left in April, why did he not share them until after he went AWOL (hint: you don't get paid if you "just" walk out in a huff).

I think the phins are at fault here. I think Incog is the problem here. The guy knocks out a security guard who was doing his job. The team hides it. The guy catches a guy w/ a upper cut and the guy tries to shove his helmet down his throat. The coaches don't see the punch. Now the guys targets his teammate. Mind you all 3 guys are a certain color but we dare not bring that in the conversation. And after each incident he goes on the PR offensive w/ how he is reformed and the organozation lauds him as a nice guy. Dude has a history. Martin is not the pussy here better to have handle it this way than have the guy go postal. I am sure more info will come out on Incog. There is something rotten in Phinland here. The org has been covering this guy too long.
Start the denials i know Incog is the residential tough guy here:

I could care less about Richie...What I do care about is Jon Martin having some issues in life and now he is attempting to destroy the team, players, coaches and our organization... Because he can't handle his own mind and business... This is classic blame everybody else for your problems but you...

Crowder, who is the poison in the equation? Martin or Igcognito? Hard to say. Is Martin using this as a way to bail on a sucky team? Not too bright if it is. Is Igcognito a cancer? He would not be suspended if that was NOT the case.
Now the old "ankle biter" has always been my favorite.
The poison is Martin, Incognito is just an as*hole... Martin is trying to take down this team because he himself has fallen down... Misery loves company, and Martin is bringing misery on everyone else that was around him, because he failed to be a man...
Martin wants to get his paychecks, then get cut, then go sign with his buddy Andrew Luck in Indy... Probably the only team that would take a chance on him. and it is only because their leader is a tight buddy of Martin... Martin is handling this poorly, just like it seems he poorly handle many things in his life to wind up in the situation he is in....

Sorry eesti, but he walked out on the team on Monday after a harmless prank that he himself was a part of the week before, he has multiple discussions/meetings with Philbin throughout the week and never once mentions the fear or intimidation, then after he assures Incog that its not about him or the team, he goes public with allegations and makes the organization and Incog look completely foolish, this reeks of a player who painted himself in a corner for whatever reason, then throws the whole team under the bus to save face. He could of went to any coach at any time to voice his concerns if it was really that bad.
Add in the fact that guys like Wake, Odrick, J Lane, Will Taylor and others to come are all speaking out on Incogs behalf, and this thing smells like a very selfish guy that quit on his team, then sold them down the river for his own personal gain. And I could give a rats ass that Incog is getting cut, any sympathy was washed away when I heard he dropped the N bomb.
It is sounding more and more like they were both acting like children. I won't mourn the loss of either as they both had issues blocking. Incog led the league in sacks allowed!
That being said, my argument was based on the fact that everyone was jumping to conclusions WAY BEFORE any facts came out and were sticking up for the "beloved tough guy" for no legitimate reason.
You don't blame the guy for his reaction when the blame should be on the perpetrator in the first place. if Incog is not acting like an idiot, this whole thing never happens. He gets no pass. Just another self-entitled ass hole.
