My point is that those figures average out to only

1) 8 yards of reception per game
2) only 1/3rd of one reception each game and
3) a touchdown only one every 17 games

But in our sorry condition, who can expect more or Moore?

I think we're down to 6 O-linemen TOTAL! We need some depth!!

the good news is, when you're starters suck, there's not a huge drop off when you bring in the backups. This is actually probably a good thing, since INcog wasn't coming back anyway, and Martin is SOFT. Let's see how Garner, Watkins, crap off the street do. They were more likely to be on this team next year than Martin and INcog anyway.
Oh and Ireland, thanks for yet another 2d round bust!!!

Spend the bucks on a big menacing "O" line next year and buy some more big name receivers. They have the cap money to do it.

We have THREE wr's. We've needed one since Gibson got hurt and tyms/McNutt got poached off our practice squad.

Yes it was. But we had two new faces on the practice squad.

Moore is a guy we can plug in who is at least familiar with the system.

Plus, didn't we add him to the practice squad and cut one of the guys we added after losing tyms & McNutt?

And do we even have a roster spot to add an olinemen to the 53 man roster?

Incognito is suspended by us. I think we have to petition the league for a roster exemption for him which probably isn't going to happen until they complete their investigation. And Martin is taking up another spot until he gets put on the non football injury list.

I'm sure the OL crop is as thin as the FA WR's.

eesti, your point, which remains valid is that it is odd that we sign a WR and three days into this controversy, no more o linemen have been signed off the streets, from Canada or anywhere else (McKinnie does not qualify because we signed him before this mess broke) and what's more, what if Pouncey is charged?

If we lose against TB this weekend, just scrap the year and play for draft and buy talent next season. Season is almost lost already

Did you forget that guy from Dallas, or was he signed before Moore?
