if fisher goes #1 and joekle doesn't go 2, there is a big chance we trade up to 3 w oak for joekle

No telling, but Fisher goes 1... And with that, now KC is in a bad position with Albert

Wow!

A second impact DE can change the defense.

Will Odrick move inside & Starks or Soliai moved for a later pick?

I heard we won't give up a second for Albert

Why give up a second to pay Albert what we could have given Long? Both have health issues

The paramedics have been called. The Dolphins just did something ChyrenB LIKED!!!!

No Wide receiver or no offensive lineman and no trading for Albert. (unless something happened earlier today I missed).

I like this move.

I always thought that Defensive Lineman pass rusher was our BIGGEST need, to compliment Wake.

Everyone says this guy is built like Jason Taylor.

Could not have done better.

Yeah the trade up was a heck of a deal, I just hope Jordan is the guy, we had pick of the litter at any position but tackle, and this is the guy we took... It surprised me... We have never traded up in the 1st rd during Ireland's entire tenure and he trades up to 3 for Jordan.. I sure hope he winds up being worthy of the #3 pick. We passed on awful lot of players for him... If he can be an elite pass rusher opposite Wake, we have something special.. He looks a little thin, a lot like JT did his rookie year..

LOVE the pick.

Jordan was my favorite defensive player in the draft. I never imagined we'd get him...let alone as cheaply as we did.

Great job by Ireland and the staff.

Never heard a peep about us being linked to Jordan. That's the way you play the game.

Agreed Crowder, no idea if Jordan's the guy, but to only give up #42 to move up to #3 is highway robbery. Like you said, let's hope he's worth it.

Great pick. I've been chanting "pass rusher" for months now.
It looks like the team focus this season will be to beat Tom Brady and win the division.

I hated hated the trade when it was first announced with the raiders bc I thought we'd have given up our 2 seconds and more, and no one in this draft is worth that. But when I heard we only gave up one of our 2ds, I was thrilled. Don't know much about Jordan and his stats aren't that impressive but he was supposed to be the best pass rusher in the draft so I am happy with the move
Now get Albert for a 3d, take a DB and BPA with our remaining 2 and 3 and we are in good shape (even overpaying $$ for albert)

Ireland must have smelled blood with the Raiders at #3. Oakland has been notorious for making bad trades.

I think Truth made the best comment when he said that Ireland played the game the way it is supposed to be played and that is having everyone thinking ahead of time that you are going to ZIG and then you ZAG.

I was cursing Ireland thinking he was going to do all those dumb things including giving up one of our picks in a deal for Albert or picking even Tyler Eifert who we could definitely use but we should not have used OUR no. 12 for him (even though Tyler Eifert was worth MORE than a 12 by himself).

We just had too many other needs.

Now let's look at DB and Running back.

Shoulder issues prevented him from gaining weight but he isn't far from the same size JT played at..

He is probably a situational pass rusher until he puts on weight and some moves...not unlike Aldon Smith, who Jordan has been compared to...

Odrick and/or Vernon in base D and a nickle consisting of...

SDE Wake
DT Starks
DT Odrick
WDE Jordan

Watch your back Tommy boy! Jordon on the blind side....and he can also drop into coverage like a LB or Safety.

Its actually a good trade for Oakland. They wanted Hayden. #3 was too high for him. The added a mid 2nd (didnt have one) and got their guy.

The amazing thing is nobody offered more to get Lane Johnson.
