A)I'm glad we went defense.
We got great value moving up. just a 3rd for 9 spots!!? That's just slightly short of incredible.
I wanted more picks, not less. But again, we got great value. If he had given multiple picks to get Jordan I'd be raising hell. But I really can't argue this was anything but a great start to the draft.
Look. I was dead set against moving up. You know that. But how can you not take a deal like that!? Any real Dolphins fan can see that. Just more proof that DB is a Pats fan.
The math is in our favor folks, we gave up a number 2 pick...so what?! The lower the pick, the less chance of it being something special. Instead we got Dion"Brady-Killer" Jordan. I LOVELOVELOVE the trade and pick!
We are finally following the Giants blueprint to topple the Pats, AFC East Championship here we come!
So we traded up to draft an injured player who only had 5 sacks last year. There appeared to be 2 other better pass rushers better then him on the board...
He might be built like Jason Taylor, but does he have the desire JT had?
1. Caught me and everyone else by surprise, but a high value deal!
2. Brilliantly disguised and clearly a BPA selection
3. Ballsy move and preceded by filling must needs
It has been a long time since this team had a scary defensive push. Wake and Dion could be a great combo freak rush!

the site basically crashed all last night during the draft.
plus we picked so early there wasn't anything to say after 45 min. If we picked 12 or later and the site didn't crash there'd have been an epic thread about who was falling, who we should take, what we should do. Pretty anticlmactic.

Chyren- Yeah Berk and I were talking on the thread, then the trade and pick happened and within minutes, the site was locked up.. The only way I could get in was through my iPhone, my laptop couldn't get on for hours.. Weird that the mobile device is able to get on when the site gets overloaded.. But worth a try if u guys want to try and get on when the site is acting up..

I think that would require Curt putting more money into the site (new server?). Not sure that is an option.
But you are right. It does suck and its more than a little ironic that we come here every day to talk football but when its a big news day or game there are so many of us that we can't converse.
I think it is the bandwidth, not the server.. There might be a way he could ramp up the bandwidth on certain days. But bandwidth isn't cheap... The server is getting too many request and the bandwidth, is not big enough to allow them all to get through, so it creates a bottleneck with all the request trying to come in and go out.. Which is why sometimes you get through, your packets were lucky...lol... I think the questions is how many request did the server get the last couple of days, and how much bandwidth would it cost to handle all those request, for a few of the peak days a year.. And then maybe we can raise the funds...
